I love the old tools, the signs, old watering cans, and other treasures. The prices are reasonable and have good curatorial skills.

Compliments about the quality, uniqueness, and reasonable prices of our vintage and rustic pieces abound. The warm, cozy and clean atmosphere keeps our customers returning again and again. The name for our store came from the Handcrafted Apple Roses that can only be purchased at The Rustic Rose. Apples are sliced, dyed and dried in many various and seasonal colours and then crafted into roses that last year after year. Custom made arrangements can be ordered for any occasion. And rustic? We are passionate about anything remotely rustic…it gives us a lot of pleasure to see the things we enjoy so much being appreciated by others. Our customers often come back with pictures of the wonderful ways they display the items purchased. Steamer trunks, wood crates, vintage snowshoes and skis, cameras, and hood ornaments. Antique phones, lanterns, bikes, license plates and vintage jewelry. We definitely have something for everyone! EILEEN - OWNER

I was asked to move my car from your parking lot this morning when I was quickly running into the store to cash my scratch tickets before heading into your shop to browse. I have been a customer of yours many times over my 3 years of living on the beach and by running out of your store asking me to move so your “customers” can park really puts a bad taste because I AM a customer of yours.... I decided to abort my entire mission altogether and leave and you have lost my support, it wasn’t worth my time to give you a play by play of what my intentions were. There was a reason I parked in front of your store and not the empty convenience store parking spot.. On the off chance that people have no intent to stop into your store (I always stop in your store and purchase different things) by coming out and being rude about people parking for likely a quick visit to the convenience store I can guarantee that you are losing multiple peoples interest of ever going into yours just because of that experience alone. Just an FYI.

M	Ma Woo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You know, you don’t see places like this anymore. You can tell that the people that run this place really care about the stuff that they sell. I went in there not knowing what I would find and came across a couple of typewriters that I really liked. The woman working there answered all the questions that I could think of to the best of her ability, and even offered a few suggestions of how to mildly restore the piece closer to its former glory. She even had a small sample of the compound she uses to restore metal and gave me the bottom of her personal bucket, to get me started. You don’t get service like that anymore. As I was checking out I saw some really cool keys that I thought I should grab to add to the rustic theme I’ve got going on for this one corner of my house and she quickly put them in a little paper bag. When I opened it up I saw that they were inside an even nicer bag with a draw string and everything, inside the original bag. I’ve always said the presentation is everything when it comes to customer service and she checked every box. It’s small things like this that show that they care. I will definitely be checking in once in a while to see what other cool things they’ve got. If you’re reading this, I want to thank you again for the wonderful experience.
