I contacted Hamilton Automobile Appraisals and they helped me get what my vehicle was worth and prevented the insurance co. from ripping me off. I highly recommend you contact Hamilton Automobile Appraisals if your insurance has deemed your vehicle a total loss, before you accept their appraisal and offer.

Retail businesses should not make clients feel like they are an imposition. Statements such as: "I get $250.00 all day for these but I've got to do your's on the cheap for $150.00 to compete" being made over and over and then taking three times the promised time to complete an appraisal does not sit well with those seeking and paying for such a professional service.
After viewing my vehicle for all of 10 minutes and taking a few photos with a mobile phone, the representative left and then contacted me later to inform me that certain photos did not turn out. This information was then followed with requests for me to retake the photos on his behalf.
Days after meeting, I was informed that the representative was unable to find information about my car and he requested that I forward links to similar vehicles to assist in his appraisal.
My question at that point was what exactly was I paying for?
I would encourage those seeking similar services to further vette this appraiser as to his experience with anything other than basic domestic automobiles for which kijiji or autotrader are able to furnish basic information on pricing.information on pricing.
