★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not my closest hospital, or the biggest or newest...but it's my preferred hospital 100%
Anytime I have been to emerge, any time of day- ALL the staff are compassionate, friendly and great at explaining every detail. Everyone from mobile screening to cleaning staff are upbeat and positive regardless of what they have been dealing with all day. They are a great bunch up there in Alliston and I'm glad it's not too far out of my way!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I completely understand that there are multiple patients that come through emergency and that the current state of the world is unprecedented. The thing is if I arrive in ambulance because I’ve split open my head, I feel that waiting over 4 hours on a bed in the hallway, with an empty IV, while nurses pass by laughing isn’t really how an emergency room should be ran. Asking for any form of updates from nurses, told they’d return with information and then have that same nurse walk by completely disregarding me and never being given any information. Alliston’s hospital is sometimes the only option for some people and this isn’t the only bad experience I’ve experienced even prior to the pandemic. I just feel that they need to find some sort of better organization/management to treat patients.
