great job cleaning our hotel and getting it ready for spring! we HATE doing it and going forward we will use Sterling Pool and Spa for this. He worked efficiently and it was a reasonable cost! well worth it.

Sean was quick to come and fixed all the hot tub issues as well as an issue with my koi pond heater. Our hot tub is super old, but he managed to find parts from different places to get the original pump working again--going the extra mile to get it fixed instead of writing it off and just replacing with a new one. Was professional and proficient, will use again!

Great company!!! Can’t say enough. Sean was very knowledge and was able to troubleshoot several problems with our hot tub. After a long wait with other companies trying to figure out the problem, Sean had it up and running in a few days. Would highly recommend this company for repairs and maintenance on your hot tub and pool!

Our realtor hired Sean to do a pool inspection for a home that we had made an offer on. The pool inspection was done in late July 2020 and we took possession of the home on September 1, 2020. The summary of his inspection was "Overall, the pool, equipment and surrounding area are in very good to excellent condition with the only areas of concern being: ● skimmer and side drain ball valves Should be replaced. ● Care should be taken when walking around the waterfall upper area where the exposed plumbing is. ● Missing weir(flapping door that goes in the skimmer). Non essential but replacement should be considered. ● The minor pitting in one pool tile. ● An unverified functional pool light. " After we took possession, we noticed some fairly large cracks in the coping. There was no mention of this in the inspection report. We contacted Sean and his response was that the cracks must have occurred subsequent to his inspection. We contacted the previous owner who confirmed that the cracks had been there for sometime. It was late in the season and Sean and I agreed that he would do the repairs in the Spring 2021. I contacted him at the beginning of April 2021 and he wanted to see a picture of the crack again. This time I a made a video of the whole crack and sent it to him on April 7, 2021. He replied "That's very different from the picture that was sent to me last year. I'm not sure how I will respond to this. I'll speak to a concrete professional and get a recommendation." The picture I had sent previously did not cover the whole crack thus the reason I sent the video. I did not hear from Sean, so on April 21 I sent him an email asking him when he would be fixing the crack. I again emailed him on May 3, May 11 and May 19. He did not respond to any of those emails. I sent Sean a text and left a voice mail and he did not respond to either. I sent him a lengthy email on May 25th expressing my frustration and have not heard anything from Sean. On his website he states "My mission is to offer you a β€œhuman” connection for those times when things are going wrong. I get it. The pool and the spa are important parts of the family and of the home and when things break or the water doesn’t look right, it’s frustrating. I offer a 100% personalized service for your pool or spa. You’ve got my number. Those aren’t just words. Families that play together stay together." Obviously there is a disconnect between what the website states and how I was treated. We have a tiled pool and we noticed that there was a bulge in the glass tiles mid point on the waterfall wall about six to eight inches above the waterline. The bulge peaks at about the waterline and affects a number of tiles below the waterline as well. It's very noticeable when looking along the length of the wall. In addition, grout had disappeared from tiles on the stair walls which again was very noticeable. Sean's comment in the inspection report was "Pool tiling is in very good condition with no missing tiles and no signs of degraded or damaged grout work. One exception to that is a large panel(the panel with the pool light) that has some moderate β€œpitting” in it that is smooth and in its current state does not pose a cutting/slicing hazard. This should be monitored for further degradation and repaired if required." Obviously the pool tiling is not in very good condition and there is damaged grout. We are having the pool tiling repaired this year and although I don't know the cost as the tiler is not sure just how many need to fixed, it will be significant. This is a cost that the previous should have borne had the inspector caught the issue and covered it in his report. Although the cost of the repairs bothers me, what really bothers me is the fact that I did not get a response from Sean. I understand people are busy and miss emails, texts and phone calls. However, not responding to five emails, at least one phone call and text is not acceptable. Mark S. Bragagnolo
