β β β β β Interestingly enough, the Victoria store is laid out exactly the same as the last Staples I visited in Vancouver before moving back here, just on a smaller scale. This meant, of course, I knew where to find everything as I shopped there often. Oddly, I do not since moving here.

β β β β β I've never had a problem with this location and all my purchases here have been very satisfactory. The photo printing is awesome and all my projects have come out very well. The staff, even though under an obvious tough workload, are very helpful and friendly fast and efficient. Some even went through my work to make sure I left happy. The computer section was extremely helpful and directed me to the best purchase price wise and functioning wise for a laptop. I'm still very satisfied. Nicely laid out store and ample parking available. The only issue I have is their online ordering for photo. It is relatively slow and hard to navigate through, with one wrong move and everything is lost and back to square one. When stuff is ordered it arrives very fast and on time.

β β β β β I get here on some weekends for regular print jobs. Parking is always available at the front door. Only negative thing that I personally don't like is when customer service always chases you to ask if you need help although you have never asked for it and all customers are obviously aware that there is staff nearby in a case of need.

β β β β β Popped in to get a stylus and they have a good variety. When asking an employee about cell phone jackets he was unknowledgeable and disinterested in helping two senior ladies. Normally staff is attentive and aware of their supplies, but not this young man

β β β β β wanted to buy a pretty expensive device which they have 7 in stock of. I walked around the store trying to find said electronic device by myself and couldnβt. There was an employee on the floor on his phone unwilling to help me so I went to the front to ask where they were and the associate pointed in the direction I had just looked. I asked her to show me where they were since I did not see them my first go round. She said they were βright thereβ. I saw them that time and went to stand by them assuming she would tell the other associate I wanted to buy one. They talked for 10 minutes while I was waiting for someone to get one from the back for me to purchase. I will be getting said device at Best Buy tomorrow. Iβm not impressed staples. ?

β β β β β Staples is the go to place for most office supplies. This was the best place I found when I really needed a laptop and their staff was reliably informed to be able to tell me the difference between specifications for the products they carry and sold.
They lack good customer service in their stationary supplies. The training, skills and knowledge just aren't there when it comes to writing instruments, ink, paper, notepads and old school tools of communication. This knowledge has its own niche and cursive writing is an art form that requires informative staff. They can show you where it is, but that's about all. Leaves room to improve and opens niche opportunities for entrepreneurial inclined persons to fill.

β β β β β Staples in general is my go-to business supply store. If you run a business, i'd definitely recommend signing up for their Staples preferred program, it has been an amazing experience. I've found that Staples has been able to bring in the business supplies I need such as bubble mailers at prices better than the competition when I asked if they could compete with their competitors prices. I also love their website as it's easy to download and keep track of invoices which is super handy for accounting.

β β β β β The staff is very friendly and doing what they can however everyone Iβve dealt with seems extremely stressed out and overwhelmed. Definitely seems to be something management-wise or with the companies processes itself. If you are needing anything from the copy/printing centre highly recommended ordering elsewhere. The last three things Iβve ordered was a nightmare and very stressful. Each time I had to come in and show them my order number because they claimed to have lost it or it didnβt exist so had to print off the slip for them, staff were overwhelmed with customers and not enough people to help so the last time I stood there for 20 minutes before someone was available to help me. Iβm not one for complaining but my heart went out to those who seem to be trying to do their job but struggling with disorganized systems.
