R	Richard Campbell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended. My wife and I were in the mood for fish and chips and visited Stanley's on a Sunday afternoon. It was well worth the trip. Extremely friendly welcome and great service.. Fresh cut fries and the fish were both excellent. The generous portion of halibut was wrapped in a light tempura style batter. Very crisp on the outside with moist fish on the inside. Definitely not greasy. Very tasty and worthy of the rave reviews. Also, if you like colelaw and rice pudding - don't miss Stanley's. Freshly made home style coleslaw in a light and creamy dressing. For dessert, the rice pudding was a baked style with cinnamon and raisins and served warm. All very tasty. Our new go to for fish and chips. Enjoy!

He is one of the nicest and most genial people I've met, and I believe is a true embodiment of Canadian hospitality. Although he was alone, our food was served within minutes, fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. If you're in the area, and are looking for something to eat, I would highly recommend coming here.

They were served and attended to while my order got cold. Had the fish & chips, shrimp & chips as well as creamy coleslaw. The food was such a pale yellow, I was concerned it wasn't cooked enough. The shrimp were tasty but an order is to include 8 and I only received 7. ? Not at all worth $50!! I will not be returning to this establishment again.

He talked to us and told us stories of his history running different types of pizza and fish and chips places over the years. The food was surprisingly tasty and the place was clean. We need to support these kinda of places because they have gone through such a hard time over the last few years. We will definitely go back if we're in that area again.

The owner was so friendly, the type that you love to support in this taught time and make sure he stays open with this delicious food. Halibut was flaky done perfectly and the fries are home made like they should be.

Had their Halibut and shrimp special with fries and onion rings, no fuss homestyle cheeseburger, more shrimp and gravy on the side. Batter was light and crispy, shrimp were big and I like the thinner cut french fries with the mashed potato interior. It was great sitting down again at a fish and chip place finally!
