★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had delivery and the quality of the ingredients is pretty good. Food was fresh and hot. Little light on the flavouring for the chowmein but still good. There is a moderate amount of msg but not enough to have a lasting after taste.
The Chinese food definitely leans more to the western side. Saying that, it is freshly cooked food and I would order again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in the search for chinese food and after reading reviews, I decided on Chan Can Wok and I was so pleased.
Customer service was friendly. Order was ready prompt for take out. The meal was amazing (wasn't heavy and tasted fresh) and the portions were very generous. I have ordered here twice, having exceptional service and meals each time. This will now be my neighborhood take out spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cute cozy place! The owner is super sweet, the food is delicious and everything is clean!!! The portions are really big too, so generous, love it! They also have a lunch and dinner offer, you can get like 3 entries for like 15 $ or something. Thank you, it was amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here, ordered Crispy Garlic Chicken....taste so horrible. First it wasn't even crispy, second I kept chewing on one piece of chicken for 2 mins. Like that was not chicken. My pregnant wife threw up and she didn't even swallow the food. DISGUSTING FOOD. CHINESE FOOD IN EDMONTON IS FAKE CHINESE FOOD. GO TO TORONTO AND HAVE CHINESE FOOD, YOU WILL KNOW WHAT CHINESE FOOD SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the shrimp chow mein, chicken Chow Mein, and hot and sour (no meat). All items were still very hot when I got home 15 minutes later. The chow mein dishes were very delicious. The hot and sour soup was more on the sour side and less on the hot. Very pleased with food and the service received.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a sit-down restaurant: this restaurant was not doing dine-in when we visited despite website saying seating of 16-20 people. We had to order to-go. We ordered ginger beef and sweet & sour pork combo dinners. Ginger beef was soggy, chicken fried rice was not good, and the chow mein noodles were RAW like in previous reviews. Overall, everything tasted uncooked and flavorless so we will not be returning. I regret paying an extra $2.00 for raw chow mein.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food here was great. We ordered for picked up and the service was phenomenal over the phone and while in restaurant. If I had to make a complaint it would be that the food was too hot to dish out when we did arrive home 10 minutes later. But to us, that is not an issue whatsoever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yum! ?? Fast and super friendly service. We ordered a dinner for three and it was fantastic! Sorry I only have two pics but everyone had dug in before I could snap some! Spring rolls were crisp, the veggies were cooked perfect tender crisp, the chow mein and fried rice were perfectly done and the chicken balls had big pieces of chicken. I really appreciated how each dish had it's own flavour....like you know sometimes Chinese food can have all the same seasonings for every dish and be quite boring. Not here! It was our first order and definitely won't be our last. Thanks!!!
