I was gifted a $100 amazon gift card from this shoppers, upon trying to redeem it i learn that it was never even activated at the store (this is after i contact amazon to ask what the issue is). Was told that we would need to call the 1-800-shoppers number only to find out that nothing could be done without an amazon case number. There is a very easy fix but somehow we need to jump through hoops just to get what was paid for. Very disappointed.

today i had a horrible experience at this location, i only go here as this is the closest one from work so i said i’m gonna stop by as i have an offer and needed something for home. everything went great until i went to the cashier. one particular cashier said that whenever i’m there i’m always causing problem, like for one this is the second time i was there and she was working, is it my fault that the cashier does not know what she’s doing? i don’t work there so i don’t know what comes first, to scan the pc points first, coupons or your offer. and why did she say that i’m always a problem when i’m there, is it my fault that she really doesn’t know what she’s doing as a cashier?!! i am a paying customer so is it my fault that she doesn’t know how to do her job properly? like wth!!!!

Usually this pharmacy is great - but there’s one particular pharmacist who’s moods are quite unpredictable. Usually she’s in a bad mad, she’s short and snippy. She’s the blond one - avoid her if you can or go to another pharmacy. She doesn’t like to help or offer advice.

Where do I start... I pay almost $400 a month to do COVID-19 tests here every 72 hours so I can have the privilege of working. Thankfully I am blessed to be able to afford this. I have a MEDICAL condition where I pay over $500 for blood thinners after 80% coverage - which is why I can't get vaccinated. So a significant portion of my evenings is spent driving, waiting in line, filling out a form, waiting, getting a nasal swab and waiting some more. Away from my family. Lord forgive me for having the AUDACITY to walk around the store and give Shoppers Drugmart more of my hard earned $. I'm wearing thousands of dollars of jewelry - platinum, gold and diamonds. My purse is Marc Jacob's, my coat is Mackage, my boots are Uggs, my shirt is Ralph Lauren. What more can I do? I was followed by a uniformed security guard who conspicuously followed me from aisle to aisle and STOOD IN FRONT OF ME AND WATCHED ME. I understand people steal, I understand that loss prevention officers have a job to do but this was to the max. It is unacceptable and extremely hurtful. He was not descreet at all. DO BETTER SHOPPERS DRUGMART AND BLACKBIRD SECURITY! EDIT: No more testing requirements so I will never give this store another penny. If you look Indigenous I BELIEVE you will be profiled here. And Jimmy Matthews, if you do really own the place, you were always nice to me when giving me my COVID test and all the pharmacists have been great. Maybe tell your cosmetics girls like ALEJANDRA to not tell security to watch me because honey, you’re Indigenous/Latin too. Learn who to be suspicious of pendeja.

What a degrading experience I just had at the pharmacy here. I will never return after being discriminated against by Jimy Matthews and his pharmacy staff. I went here to fill my prescription for a skin condition that my dermatologist diagnosed and stated to me that it was being aggravated from wearing a mask. I was given a mask exemption which I showed to all of the pharmacist including Jimy. I had been keeping my distance , standing behind the plexi glass shield , with not one other customer within 20 feet of me, and no one else in line. This meant nothing to them, and they refused me service. Jimy finally came and said he doesn’t have time for this and he will fill my prescription this time while I wait outside in -14 weather while it’s snowing. This was extremely embarrassing, degrading, and humiliating to me. As a business operator myself I cannot imagine ever treating a customer like this. The legal mask exemption that I showed as proof, and as pharmacist I’m sure that they were able to figure out that the 2 compound creams that I was prescribed was for the skin condition… This all meant nothing to this staff. I want to be clear that this is an isolated incident at this shoppers drug Mart in particular. I have never been treated this way at any other shoppers drug Mart. STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOPPERS PHARMACY! READ THE OTHER HORRIBLE REVIEWS . Jimy and his staff are rude and practice discrimination. It’s incredible that Jimy is actually the owner of this disgraceful business:(

Over the past year, my family and I have used this Shopper’s Drug Mart for all of our Covid vaccinations. We found this store was very clean and organized. Frishian, who works with the Pharmacy Team, was very accommodating, professional and helpful especially in getting our vaccinations booked. The overall staff was friendly and there was a lot of good deals on many products and especially if you have a PC Optimum card. Great store and Pharmacy in a great location.

I love this location. I drive out of my way to come to this Shoppers 90% of the time (past two other stores lol). The boutique has a great selection, you can tell that the pharmacy staff really care, and the store staff are kind and helpful. My only complaint is how late it opens because I am an early shopper, but that's easy to live with
