★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No customer service, my husband went in to look for soccer cleats for our daughter and asked for assistance and the person working there just pointed in the general direction of the shoes. No other staff offered to help find sizes or anything. He left empty handed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nicely laid out store. Prices clearly marked . Although did not have a lot of sizes in runners. Did not know if they would. Prices were high but not outrageous. Shop there occasionally. Will continue to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to get bicycle repaired, $30 service for many part changes and fixed within 2 days. Every other bike shop has a waiting list 1 month+ and charge 5-10x cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am extremely disappointed with this Sports Check location. At 2:00pm today I brought my mother to Sports Check to shop for new shoes for her mothers day gift, shortly after we found her shoes I decided to keep browsing for clothes. My little sister went up to the till to buy a water bottle and was carrying the shoes. The Manager was rude to my 12 year old sister because she said she wasn't buying the shoes. When she explained I was buying them he got mad.
Shortly after I walked up to the till and asked the woman what the man's name was and she said 'my manager?' I said yes and she replied with '" I dont know". I looked her in the eyes and said 'you don't know your managers name?' She then responded with 'its not my job to know, I only work here a few days'. We waited approximately 10 minutes for him to come talk to us but he didn't show up so we asked another employee what his name was and was told his name was Aiden.
This isnt the first time I have gone to this location and the same man was rude and dismissive. I felt as though I was an inconvenience when paying for my items. No smiles, no one asks if I found everything ok. Just plops the receipt on the items and nothing more.
I would like to mention that aside from these 2 individuals I normally have an ok experience and didnt have any complaints.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sandi is wonderful. My husband has special requirements for running shoes as he has Rhumetoid Arthritis. We had been to so many shoe stores before seeing Sandi at Sports Chek. She knew exactly the type of shoe that would be best for him. We very much appreciated her expertise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience at this store left me disappointed. The customer service is wanting. The first instance was when I was purchasing helmets I had seen online and were available in the store. I show the sales associate what I wished to purchase, and he says he will check in the back. I wait there for quite some time. The guy never returns. I later see him wandering on the store floor. I get another associate who assists in retrieving the items.
The second instance is when I had to return one helmet to exchange with a larger size. I also needed to get a pair of skates. It took a while to get the right fit, but once I did, I brought my items to the till only to realize I brought the wrong helmet box from home for the exchange. Furthermore, the skates needed sharpening, and the store was closing. So, I had to come back the next day. The lady told me she will put the items on hold for me for a day, and she collected my information. When I went the following evening, the items weren't on hold. Pretty disappointing because I had to go back shopping for them, and no apologies or explanation offered. I wish they told me they don't put items on hold if that is their policy instead of promising something and not doing it. If I ever need something again, I'd rather look at other stores before opting for Sportscheck.
