β β β β β Cockroaches and rude staff!! There is something wrong with the water system and the floors got wet and damaged because of the poor system. Request for repairing three weeks ago, but the problem still not solved!! NEVER LIVE HERE!!

Update!!
The floors were replaced, but not fixed properly. When the new floors were replace, I noticed a problem with the water system and told them immediately when they were still in my apartment!! The guy who was in charge said that was find!??!!
Ok.. fine. A month later, the problem got worse and the floors are broken again now!! I have been asking for two times for them to just come and see whatβs happening!!
They came today, and they were trying to put all the responsibility toward me. He said I made it? What the hell?? Luckily I told them before immediate when I noticed and took a picture.

Update!!
Noticing many cockroaches in the bathroom, and asked for pest control for three times! Problem not fixed. Guess what they said this time.
They came today for another pest control, and said β I donβt see any roachesβ.. I was like ...βwhat the hell?β Am I supposed to feed the roaches and wait for you to check it exists? It hide obviously!! Donβt get their logic.

If you are so unfortunate to live here, I would suggest you to keep your record of everything.

β β β β β Do not believe in the nice reviews about this place. The management team is worse than the cockroaches problem here.
Don't think you will just pay your rent on time and not deal with them, because whenever you have the smallest problem to talk to them, they will make you suffer. It is funny how they can accelerate something so small and normal into something so difficult and complex.
Your problem will be never solved, and you will be left alone, don't know who to talk to.
I've been yelled at and hang up from Elona from their accounting department just for not understanding the way my deposit works. They can be so nasty, you even wonder how can this kind of service exist in Canada, but not a third world country.
My closet door fall of 8 months ago, I sent several reports to them and it is still not been fixed.
This building is famous for their bug problems, I have to pay for 200 to pest control almost every half year.
I knew several tenants who formed a team and went to the court with the company in Montreal.
The building has been renovated, the location is sublime. But think twice before you move in.

β β β β β This place doesn't deserve 1 star but google won't let me give it 0 stars. Where do I even begin? There's the cockroach infestation that they spent a summer trying to take care of but it all went to waste since they did no upkeep. There are the elevators that rarely work - once all three were out and not a super in sight to help people or let them know that the ten minutes spent waiting for an elevator was a waste. Not even a sign was put up. You can't have a mature conversation with anyone who works in management because they are all extremely dismissive and rude that getting a word in is nearly impossible. To get any kind of customer service I've had to yell over them many times and point out how rude they are being with no provocation. Basically the team here is a mess, no management or customer service skills, the building obviously suffers because of this. They will slip notices for inspection under your door for next day when the sheet is dated a week prior... no organization what so ever. I could write an entire book on the bull that takes place here.

β β β β β Most of the other reviews here are accurate. I moved out a month early just to be out of the place. There are also cockroaches; I would gauge it as an infestation, it won't get solved. The doors are not sound proof in any way, noise from the hall will be apparent in your unit. You may consider checking the city rat list as well.
The management is completely unprofessional at best. The reviews that comment on their conduct reflect my experience.
There were several months of elevator outages. During the time where there was only 1 elevator operating, it was consistently on service during peak hours. When moving out, they took my assigned elevator for moving appliances for 40 minutes.
It's not worth the proximity to UofT.

β β β β β The staff here are EXTREMELY rude and treat you in a way as though they're doing you a favor by living here. The ONLY reason this place has tenants is because of its convenient location.
Cockroaches are a SERIOUS problem, and they will try to make it seem as if it's your fault that there are cockroaches, even though almost every single apartment has them.
I cannot emphasize enough about how terrible the management here is. They have ZERO regards for their tenants. They simply don't care because they know that this is a prime spot for University students.
Something has to be done about this. I'm writing this review because I want anyone looking into this place to NOT live here.
If I could give this place -4 stars I would, because that's legitimately how bad it is.

read this review before you make a decision !!!!
first, three managers in this building, none of them are nice.
their attitudes are extremely unacceptable.
you will see.
second, millions of cockroaches will say hello to you
every single time you go to washroom, do not shock by a cockroach on the wall because you will see three more on the ceiling. be careful, they sometimes fall down to your head.
You think I made up this story?, it really happened to me ^_^ nice!
third, people in the office really don't care about the problems that you encountered. Like cockroaches, so many people complain about it, what they did is just spraying whatever that is, which never works.
Really, THEY DON'T CARE !
If you found any good reviews about this building, they probably work for Cromwell

β β β β β Went to their leasing office to check out a room a month ago. Not sure the other members of their management team, but the lady in the office, named Gordana made me feel extremely uncomfortable to talk with. She was able to explain my answers but I felt she's very arrogant and look down on customers based on the ways she interacted with me and another applicant while I was waiting. It seems they believe the applicants are begging them for a lease, instead of treating us as valuable customers. Toronto's housing demand truly spoils those brats, I hope government could do something to make renters less miserable.

Agreed with most of other 1-star opinions
And I feel glad that I have someone to fight against the management team with.
Thatβs all! We shall build a FB group to fight for our right, all current tenants!
To add on, they do give free treatment, though it takes time to eliminate. And best of luck!!
