L	Lulu DuGood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You are forced to have one doctor. When my Doctor isn't absent she is incompetent. If you want to switch you have to leave the clinic all together. My new clinic is a pleasant change.

One time I called the receptionist out on her rudness on the phone and she started to scream at me that I could be kicked out of the office for acting disrespectful. I was shocked. I tried to call a manager but was no one would speak to me. My doctor is nice but the staff is horrible.

You rarely have to wait for an appointment, even if your doctor is unavailable, they ALWAYS give you an option to see another doctor the same day. When I speak to the receptionists on the phone, they are always polite ( you get what you give). I would most defintely recommend South East Family health Team. You wont find much better in terms of quality care and customer service in the East end of Toronto. * Another bonus, I have never waited to see a doctor longer then ten minutes past my appointment time. Now this is a true rareity.

I along with other family members of mine have attempted to express this frustration to higher ups but changes rarely seem to happen. It is rare I have an appointment there without some kind of mix up. Sadly it is only the close proximity and difficulty finding other family doctors that keeps me there.

They’re so collaborative with patients—getting us to take part in our health and decision making rather than the all-too often “I’m a doctor so this is what’s best” attitude that can get old quickly. They’re respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, and have so many resources to tap into! Sometimes I wait a while (which has been improving greatly lately), but I would MUCH rather wait a bit for excellent care than get taken in quickly by a total quack ;which is the type of practice I came from). The clerks are friendly (a rarety in drs offices) too. I can’t speak highly enough about them!

I received a message to call the clinic but getting through by phone is very difficult and has taken a lot of time, they need more receptionists. As a result, I cannot reach a doctor for results of my x-rays and ultra sound, a doctor who is supposed to get back to me but has not.

Hint hint this doctor is part of the West team! I never fail to leave without having great advice and guidance. On the other hand, specific staff at the front desk often are rude which doesn’t correlate to the doctors and healthcare PROFESSIONALS! Very happy to have found a doctor that keeps me in good hands! As well as my family.
