★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Across from the East York Hospital (Michael Garron Hospital) and a block from the East York Civic Centre, I wish this humble little gem the best success. Great food, hot items (meat lasagna looks home-made oozing with gooey deliciousness!), sandwiches and an interesting selection of not your typical gourmet salads. I had the portobello sandwich, a breaded mushroom cutlet, special sauce on toasted bread - AMAZING! Bright spot with comfortable seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply put this is one of the best Cafes in Toronto. The food selection and taste is amazing; the food it tastes like homemade cooking. They have a unique menu with variety of tasty and healthy options. The coffee is superb. The staff are kind and very friendly. I look forward to my doctor's appointment. Sometimes I just go there and order food for the night. Once you try this place you understand what quality food tastes like.
