Don't ever go to this place, meaning the doctors office upstairs, stay away frm thus place, the doctors are uneducated, they wrk here because, they wouldn't be excepted anywhere else, very low budget, and will put you in situations that will cause you major problems, please listen to my review,. Especially if u end up meeting a nurse practitioner by the name if Juliana, omg she has major issues, PLEASE IF U INTERACT WITH HER GET OUT FAST, RUN

I want to switch my primary practitioner, but impossible to switch which does not seem fair. What is the point of forcing someone onto you when you do not work well together? A separate observation. The nurse called "Nancy" seem so wasteful. Instead of washing her hands, a sink right there in the office, she will mask and glove to touch you, where there is no infection. She just takes off her gloves without washing her hands and then she will glove again even to touch you. She goes through 2-3 changes while you are there. I am not a dirty person, it is not only a waste but bad for the environment. I can see wearing gloves when she draws blood but why wear gloves when she is listening to your chest? They should save gloves for infection control, otherwise they wash their hands.

for the nurses, Jessica and Nancy: 5 stars for the reception: 2 stars for my doctor, Angela Wong: 2.5 stars for the initiatives like safe injection sites, DECNET, helping street kids, etc.: 5 stars (but I don't use these resources so my review is not about them) I have been a patient here for 14 years. My doctor can do nothing for me because she doesn't understand my disease, but she has also done nothing to suggest a specialist so I've found them on my own. When I finally got a US-based specialist who recommended one medication that was available in Canada, Dr Wong refused to prescribe it because she "didn't feel comfortable". I'm bed bound 15 years, and *she* didn't feel comfortable? I'm completely stuck in the Canadian healthcare system, and she does not help. She writes status quo prescriptions in a timely manner and corresponds with 3rd parties, but it never feels like she truly advocates for me or searches out help. They have me use google a lot instead of explaining medications themselves. That's cool, but sometimes I'm just too ill. When I walked for the first time in 12 years, the nurse was so excited. Dr Wong wrote it down in her notes with a poker face. She takes month-long vacations frequently and is only in the clinic 2 days a week. Sure, she can't help me as a doctor, but she could at least act like a human being relating to another human being in a very challenging situation. She keeps her distance and it's cold. I realized at her last visit that she doesn't even know one interest, hobby, pet -- anything about me after 14 years and that made me saddest of all. I would like to feel as if my doctor knows me, cares about me and has my back, but I feel more like I'm having a visit with an overworked robot. I really want this to change.

If you're coming here for mental health services or are neurodivergent this is not the place. I've been coming here since I was a very small child and the services were always lacking, but they got worse when I attempted to explore my own neurodivergence and mental health. I had a number of bad experiences (that are still traumatizing) here with multiple doctors/nurse practitioners/nurses. If you have an issue that can be solved by going to a drop in go to Albany clinic on Broadview. I'm changing my family doctor to an entirely different place.
