I had an IUD inserted today and I had an really good experience. My clinician was very knowledgeable during our consultation, explained options and pros/cons, asked me questions to find the best fit. The procedure went so smoothly I was surprised, I only had some cramping that lasted less than a minute. The phone lines can be annoying yes, but there’s a reason why everyone wants to come here. If there’s anything you need done that PPT can do instead of a regular clinic, I highly recommend this place.

Got my Kyleena IUD insertion earlier this week and it was a positive experience! Nurse practitioner Marisa was really sweet and knowledgeable and ensured that I was comfortable the whole time. She explained every step of the way of my insertion and offered me a hot bag of water for my light cramps when the procedure was over. Before going in, I was quite nervous about the pain level (from reading all the Reddit stories) but it wasn’t too bad (just a bit of cramping during insertion). I was in and out within 45 minutes. I am so happy I made this decision and I have Marisa to thank for this!!!

Had the 5 yr Mona Lisa iud inserted last week monday by the nurse practitioner Lindsay and I dont have enough words to describe how amazing she is! I was terrified before my appointment but she took her time to put me at ease, kept me fully informed on everything that was happening. Moved at my pace and answered every single one of my questions before, during and after the procedure. I can't imagine having this done by anyone other than Lindsay and her aftercare was amazing! A week out and I've experienced light spotting and mild cramps during the first couple days after.

I feel so fortunate for the experience I had at PP today. Getting an IUD is an uncomfortable and painful experience, but the process could not have been smoother. I arrived for the first time at PP and was greeted by kind and friendly staff members. They start by collecting a urine sample which they test for pregnancy and some STIs. I really appreciate that they do this automatically and even though I didn't have any concerns, it was very convenient to check while I was there. Soon the nurse came over and said that she was ready for me. She was dressed in plain clothes instead of the normal scrubs and that helped me relax . She led me to the room and I was pleasantly surprised at how personal the room felt. There were little quotes everywhere and even a poster pinned on the ceiling above where I would lay that I could look at. She started by asking some questions then going over any potential risks and side effects that may occur. She then outlined what the procedure would look like and also what we would do in the event of any complications. She was very gently and thorough and very responsive to the questions I had. The procedure itself was very well done. She gave me plenty of time to settle in and brought a hot water bottle that I could put on my stomach. As she went through each step, she coached me on what to expect and different techniques to help alleviate the pain. Though everyone's experience is different, outside of a few moments of pain and cramping, it really was not a difficult procedure. When it was finished, I was given lots of time in the room to get dressed and after her final check, offered even more time to sit and de-compress in the room as I needed. This is by far the best medical experience I've ever had. It really felt like the nurse treated me as a person first and was so diligent in making me feel comfortable at every step of the way. I highly recommend PP and their services and feel to lucky to have access to such incredible services.

I got my copper IUD here and the experience was amazing. I called the day before to book my appointment and got a spot the next day with ease. The nurse practitioner that did the procedure was very kind and skilled. She explained everything thoroughly before and guided me throughout the entire insertion process. It wasn't that painful and I had a mild cramp for 4 hours afterwards. The front desk girls were so sweet as well, making my visit comfortable and pleasant. Don't hesitate to book an appointment here!!!
