β β β β β I had a prenatal massage done here the other day with Joanna Wells.
I had booked in for what should have been a 60 minute massage.
I was only let into the studio at the time of my appointment which was 8:30.
I waited as she finished up ringing through the client before me and then proceeded to change over the table linens. Our massage began closer to 8:45 if not passed. At the time of my massage she had asked kindly if I am okay to wait a bit later until 9:30? I am thinking to myself I would only assume this as my massage is supposed to be a 60 minutes and should have began at 8:30? I thought maybe I heard wrong and she had said a later time ie. 8:40, 8:50...
At the end of the massage which ended right at 9:30 I was a little confused by this.
I confronted her as she was ringing me through and she explained that "I guess some people don't realize that for first time clients the client intake takes away from the massage time"?
I explained that I had filled out a client intake form online upon booking which would cover this. I have never had a massage elsewhere where this would take away from the massage time itself if this were the case.
She failed to realize that I was only let into the studio at the time of when my appointment was suppose to start.
She ended up charging for a 45 minute as this is the service I received - however, I felt it was unprofessional.
I understand the appointment was later in the evening but your studio needs front staff and your RMTs need a buffer time (i.e. 15 mins or such) in between clients to prepare for the next as this should not cut into massage times...

β β β β β I have been here for a couple prenatal massages and would highly recommend it. They had the pregnancy pillows so I could lay on my stomach not my side. I felt much more relaxed after each massage.

β β β β β Was looking for a place near my house and could not believe my luck. Very convenient online booking system. So far I have only been 2x and saw Graeme. For my upper shoulder and back pain. He was very prompt. Informative and did a really great job. Gave me tips on what I could be doing better.
The studio is clean and spa like. With thoughtful touches like a jewelry bowl.
The only drawback is it is very busy and there are not a lot of slots open. Most of the time you cannot get an appt quickly if you have an issue. Instead you need to book 1-2 weeks in advance. Otherwise very happy with this place.

β β β β β I've been coming here ever since it opened this location. I've seen many of the different RMT's and don't think I've ever NOT been happy with my massage. They're all great! Bonus that it's so easy to book an appointment online (you'll have better luck that way, rather than calling).

β β β β β Found this massage therapy close to my neighborhood and thought I would give it a try. Their booking calendar is very full and appointments needs to be booked months in advance for any evening or weekend appointments. Of the few appointments I've booked, 3 of them were cancelled by the massage therapists. Their fees are very high and I am not fully covered, even with employee benefits ($75 was the maximum for massage).
