★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish both I had known about this place earlier and that I lived closer! The butchers are really nice and welcoming (the cashier a little less) and the meat is great. I bought a grilling steak, a black angus new york steak and 2 frozen duck legs. The quality was top notch, I'll be back for sure when I'm not that lazy to take the transit for 2hours!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been coming here for years, for weekly groceries and all my holiday meals/family events. The staff are great, super accommodating and the quality/price are unbeatable. Austin the butcher there offers great service and is always willing to go the extra mile for all my special requests. There can be a line on the weekend but it’s always worth the wait. I won’t go anywhere else!

Ordered a "fresh" turkey for Christmas pick up on the 23rd. Picked up, and open the bag this morning to find them passing off seasoned frozen Butterballs they have thawed themselves as fresh whole birds.
And have the gall to charge $5 per pound for this...never going back...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I moved here a couple years ago from Toronto and was recommended this butcher shop from a friend - I can assure you that I was not disappointed. They have an extensive range of high quality meat cuts and their marinades are extremely flavourful. I’d also like to give a shout out to the staff for the exceptional service they provide every time I visit. The red jacket butcher really knows his meats and always has the best recommendations depending on what I’m looking for. Best butcher shop in the city, hands down!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going there for a few years now, twice a week. The service has always been great. The people are awesome and the quality of meats is always amazing. The line up can be sometimes long but that’s only because the meats quality is always fresh!. They are also well priced. I highly recommend.
There’s this guy in a red apron that is always very helpful and knowledgeable.
I swear that guy young guy works everyday
Keep up with the amazing service!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time buying from a local butcher and I was not disappointed. Pre-ordered by phone a 6- rib prime rib roast for Christmas. They cut it off the bone and tied it up again with string. Price was reasonable and pick up was easy. This place often has a line up so be prepared to wait but so worth it! I would love to see items they have available online on their website. Definitely will go back there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cycled by the other week to pick up a couple steaks for my wife and I to enjoy for dinner. Upon entry I was greeted promptly by Austin who was very helpful in picking out a nicely cut Canadian prime rib as well as a tenderloin steak. He was even nice enough to allow me to bring my bike in while shopping as there aren't any bike racks available nearby. Overall had a great experience and will be back soon to try the other selections. Keep up the solid work Columbus Market team!
