I have also been able to meet all of my footwear and gear needs at their run shop. I highly recommend Sole’s personal run program. This customized guidance has allowed me to remain consistent no matter what my schedule is. Eric is very skilled and attentive when designing your program and enjoys regular feedback. I went in there for the first time today and had a very positive experience. Just getting into long distance running and they’ve got lots of experience and tips. It was nice to actually try gear on and talk about how I’m using it instead of buying it online and hoping it works. I will shop there again.

Not only do Eric and Lorie have a great running shop, their running programs are amazing. They have made it so all runners from advanced to beginners can feel comfortable joining one of their many running clinics. A real sense of community where everybody supports one another. They’ve really created something special.

It's been a blast to be along for the ride of Sole Experience's evolution from run coaching and clinics to a destination running shop. Eric and Lorie have been a pillar in the running community for years; organizing charity races and supporting local runs. They've had a hand in most any running event in Pitt Meadows. Eric's been my personal run coach since early 2013. If it wasn't for Eric I'd be a broken mess of a human, and I would have likely stop running long ago. Eric's objective is to have you enjoy your running and with his guidance you WILL get there. There is nothing more empowering than the feeling of being in complete control of your body as you pound the pavement or trail. They've had their run shop now for a few years and I've bought countless pairs of shoes, though I can't say that they've been all for myself. My wife lives in ON's, a brand that until recently only existed at Sole Experience. They are ahead of the curve; you may not have heard of some of the brands, but the brand name doesn't matter. Eric is invested in the quality and purpose of the shoe's build. Will it enhance your experience? If the answer is no, they don't carry them. AND that's just it. Eric and Lorie truly care about your experience. Whether it's the interaction you have with them in store, in a clinic, or with their footwear. They would never sell you a pair of shoes that were not for you; rather they would refer you to a store and / or shoe that would best enhance your running experience. Through their learn to run, trail running, and half marathon clinics they have fostered a great supportive community of local runners. Every time I see someone running on our local streets I am eager for the opportunity to greet them. A highlight of my week are high fives during my Sunday morning long runs. I trust Sole wholeheartedly with my feet and run program. If you are in town, make sure you stop by and say hello.

I was desperate for a pair of new trail shoes. Having worn the same brand for a number of years and knowing they were no longer available, I decided to head to Sole Experience. I knew that if I went to see Eric, he would be able to help me. He offered me a number of different trail shoes to try out. With his support and recommendations, I was able to choose a pair of On Cloudventure trail shoes. I used my new trail shoes the very next day for a three and a half hour run and they were amazing. I would highly recommend Sole Experience Running Company for their personalized service and excellent selection of clothes and shoes and all other running related needs!

Decided to get back into a healthier lifestyle after about two years away from anything resembling a run. I needed new shoes ... where to go? Since I work with one of the owners, I thought I would rather give my support to a local family run business than a large store with no service. I am so glad I walked through the door. Eric met me with a small on his face (ok, behind his mask), and took the time to properly fit me with a good choice of shoes for what I needed. Five pairs later, I found the one that make my feet happy while I am pounding the pavement. Bought yesterday and have two happy runs under my belt! Well under my new awesome shoes!
