★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quickly went in to fill the monthly alcohol budget and was surprised by the amount I was able to get. Normally a more discount place is preferred but, we live so close it's nice to just hop in when pressed for time. The manager even tossed in sone flavored 7UPs and a few clam 1L's while proclaiming " only at sobeys." Good stuff my man... Good stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best liquor store we have ever visited when it comes to customer service. We were looking for Mirin (a Japanese sweet rice wine), dry sherry or sweet marsala wine for cooking. All of the staff were super helpful trying to hunt down these products throughout the store. Unfortunately they did not have any of them however they tried their hardest and they were super polite and friendly. We did leave with a bottle of our favourite plum wine so we were happy. I would recommend this store to anyone simply for the great customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was able to locate a product (Minhas Sunshine Lager) that I've only been able to find at one other liquor store in the south.
Unfortunately, the prices are a good 15-25% higher than other stores so with the many other options available, I probably won't be a frequent visitor to this liquor merchant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in quickly but was blown away by the selection. Attentive staff asked if I needed any help and when I said there were too many good choices he recommended some of his favourites in case I wanted to try something new. I ended up with some old favourites, some new great discoveries, and a great deal on everything. I will go out of my way to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decent selection of wine and beer and a nice convenient location I the community. I really wish they had a greater portion of their shelf space for of Canadian wines. It's a bit of a diservice to the industry here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are fairly high compared to other nearby average sized liquor stores. But the staff are super friendly, so I suppose you're paying that markup for someone to say hi at checkout. Wine and beyond will be similarly priced with a stellar selection in a massive store and is a minutes drive away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price point is a little higher, not everyone that shops there is loaded, lower some prices, I can get a 15 pack of good craft beer for$17 in bowness, and $23 for a 15 of Busch, almost $30at sobeys
