Yesterday I had facialiscious in here and I told the girl who did treatment for me that I have acne issue because I was stress out recently and told her focus on the extraction but she did nothing to it. I don’t know is it because of the professional( she doesn’t know much about acne) and skoah doesn’t have machine use for acne treatment. I feel really disappointed.
C	Chantal Snodgrass on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to try the facialiscious for my first facial at skoah. What I liked about the facial was receiving $25 off your first facial. Second, I thought the woman who did my facial was knowledgeable on products and information. However, I did not leave with the usual “glow” one experiences after having a facial. My skin was irritated due to the extraction process, which was apparently more difficult due to “dehydration” of my skin. From my own personal research (and from what the facialiscious advertises) a facial should be personalized, catering to your individual needs. When I compared facial experience and products with my sister we were given the same cleanser and masks, pre-extraction. This bothered me knowing that we were given the exact same products before extraction when we have different skin care needs. Plus, I had not experienced acne getting worse post facial, lasting for about a month post treatment. When the facial was finished I was shown suggested products, there were 3 that were highly recommended and when i chose the exfoliant (which i was told needed to happen twice a week) over the hydrating mask, i was suggested to buy the hydrating mask when it wasn’t in my budget. I’m experimenting with different businesses that offer facials and think they should be accessible for all budgets for those interested in upping their skin care game. Unfortunately I don’t think i would go back to skoah, though i wanted this experience to be positive, it definitely was not my favourite facial!

I've been to many places (including other Skoahs) where the facial is used as an opportunity to push sales for the products being used, but I felt zero pressure to buy anything. Will definitely be back!!

If you're looking for a relaxing, self-care facial - Skoah is not the place to go. The whole time is just a sales pitch and it's beyond annoying. I do like a few of their products (AHA mask and their toner), but I use medical grade skincare that does the job for me. This is not the place to go if you're looking to enjoy your quiet time and a good facial. This is (unfortunately) purely sales driven.

The morning of our appointments, Teyah called and sent a text message as one of their therapists was experiencing COVID symptoms and wasn't able to work. She offered to move us to a different day, adjust our appointments to be back to back, or even to a different location - we ended up going to their Kensington location as it was a birthday surprise for my husband and the other two options weren't what I wanted. She moved us to the same time slot and also gave us a credit as an apology for having to do so - not needed, but absolutely appreciated. We'll definitely be back!

I went all out and got the facialicious facial and it was so great. The girls were lovely, very knowledgeable and pushy it’s sales.I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a relaxing ant beneficial treatment.

I have very sensitive skin and all the skoah products worked great for me, i even bought a exfoliating mask on my way out. Jeri was very knowledgeable and professional. She was gentle and gave a great massage!
