Literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The counter person continually walking away and berating me as I'm asking questions about the product I'm looking to replace. I will never return and will be sure to tell anyone I talk to about it.

Drastic incompetence. Ordered parts on a Thursday for a customer who had no heat during -15 C. Was told parts would be in Monday morning around 11am. On Monday I wait until noon to call and was told that somebody else made a mistake and they hadn't been ordered they would be in tomorrow around 11am. I have to reiterate this to my customer who is not happy. Tomorrow comes; I wait until noon with no phone call and call in and am told " I will go look for the parts and I'll get back to you within 20 minutes. An hour goes by and I call in and the guy who did my order is on lunch for another half hour. At this point i got my boss to call and threaten that we will close our account and MIRACULOUSLY the parts showed up. Not happy.

I recently went to the Edmonton north location intending to purchase a Honeywell Natural Gas Valve for my Furnace. I called for Price and Availability and was told it was approx. $290 ($110 more then amazon.) and that there was nine in stock. I contemplated it for a bit and decided getting it would be beneficial for my present comfort so I took a 1/2 hour drive to Edmonton to get the part. Upon arriving and waiting in a short line I requested the part 903596 and was asked if I have a gas ticket. I told them that I didn't and they promptly told me that they couldn't sell it to me. It upset me, I lost a hour, I left, called immediately, was answered by somebody who claimed to manager the location that and was told the same thing. I asked why I needed a gas ticket to purchase the valve, he told me it was to protect his customers. I told him that if he took my money I would be his customer. I told him that is was available on amazon for $110 less and i can have it in two days. He got angry at me and told me he was not selling it to me. I asked to speak to his superior, he told me was the manager and that he only answers to the CEO. (he didn't offer me his contact info btw.) I told him that I am a red seal journeyman parts technician and that i would be soon be out of work if i didn't sell parts to ticketed automotive technicians. He basically reiterated that he will not be selling gas valves to me. I asked him if he would sell me a hot surface ignitor, he said of course he would. I informed him that I would need to remove the gas valve to get to the hot surface ignitor on my model. Again refused to sell me the part. I can understand his reluctance to sell a gas valve to somebody if for some reason a house blew up or a family got gassed and he, or the company, was held responsible. I don't feel they could be held responsible and I feel the sole blame would fall on the Adult who Made the decision to work on his own Stuff. I will purchase my gas valve from amazon. I will in most likeliness not be going back to Sinclair Supply choosing alternative venders instead because they obviously are not in business.

Ordered a small part for my boiler on December 23rd that's in stock, but was told it won't be shipped during the Xmas season. Who in their right mind makes a customer wait for a heating part during the winter with -46 temperatures. I run a boarding facility for animals and have resorted to electric heat which isn't keeping up. I also have to haul pails of hot wash water for my floors, and warm bath water for my guests from a different building. In addition to that, I'm also having to blow dry my guests (dogs) because the floors are chilly. My heating guy is hopeful the part is shipped to Saskatoon by January 4th so he can install it before his heart surgery. This is extremely thoughtless and very poor service. One single little part that could have been shipped by courier and they refused because it's Xmas. It's winter!

Both of our furnaces ECM 2.3 Blower Motors stop working so we removed them and brought one of them in. I forget the gentleman's name but knew right away what motor and furnace we had from across the room. He explained that ECM 2.3's were discontinued and that the ones left are really expensive. Then he not only brought the recommended replacement up front but explained exactly how to install it! When I got home it took 45min to change the motor over and it was extremely surprising how accurate his instructions were. The furnace is up and running again, and we will be back to grab another motor for the other furnace!
