First time at this resort and we really enjoyed it. Good mix of blues and blacks with some excellent mixed tree skiing. Village bakery is a must for morning coffee and cinnamon buns

We were 2 couples that went to SilverStar for a week for alpine skiing. The runs were perfectly groomed and we really enjoyed the skiing here. The restaurants were good. All resort staff and also the locals are extremely friendly.

SilverStar is so fantastic. There is a huge variety of different runs. Lift lines are always pretty short and the runs aren't crowded. There's lots of places to stay that are ski in/ski out and there's a few restaurants in the village if you don't have a kitchen or don't feel like cooking.

My husband and I rode silverstar for the first time this week and we thought the hill was pretty fun. It has tons of ski in/ski out rentals and even a groomed multi use track through the ski-hill that you can do cross country skiing / dog walking, etc. Conditions were mostly sunny and soft, warm but not too warm so to really melt the snow and harden it the next day. The park had great jumps and rails that were well taken care of. The village is sweet with a selection of shopping, cafes & restaurants. It's a colorful little place or as my husband put it, looks like it's been painted by a drunk clown. Lol. Staff were friendly enough and the mountain is decent sized. We rode 1.5 days and didn't quite make it to all of the runs. We would definitely come again!

We were first told about Silver Star by a neighbor who grew up in nearby Kelowna, BC. He bragged to us about this little small-town-like resort near his hometown that looked like a brightly painted Victorian ski village. It wasn't too big, it wasn't all that crowded, it had a good ski school, and was riddled with side trails and ski bridges to maximize ski-in and ski-out capability for those staying on the mountain. We didn't really get it...until we tagged along with his family two years ago, and saw it for ourselves. Now we're back for a second visit, and I'm proud (and amazed) to be the first one to review it. This is almost an ideal family mountain, especially if you rent a house for several families (like we do), and get the benefits of rotating child care and shared meals. It has a great ski school, plenty of green runs for the kids, but with a good percentage of blue and black runs to make things interesting for the parents. It's also in some sort of magic weather pocket, so snowfall (powder, thank you very much) is very regular throughout the winter. (On our last trip we received a few inches every night). The short lift lines (and the ability to sit down at a restaurant with no wait) were also major pluses for us.

I have been fortunate enough to spend the majority of the season in SilverStar this year. As always, it is a fantastic resort with all different levels of terrain, beautiful views, and a lovely group of people working there. I can’t say enough about this magical place. A true hidden gem.

A beautiful and sunny Valentine's Sunday. Not too crowded and the snow was pretty good considering no fresh powder for a while. Long John's was great food and service and tube town was a hoot. So many great activities.

Super mountain for skiing and boarding. They have a gondola which is a God send on those cold windy days. They also have a 6 person high speed chair which is great when you’re with a large group. The fun doesn’t stop there… there’s a wicked tube park and a skating pond. They have a Zamboni to smooth the ice! World class! There’s an eatery in the village where you don’t need to be vaccinated to buy food. You can even sit down.
