Beautiful spot to stop and have a picnic. Swimming on a lovely beach right by the parking area. Rest rooms and garbage bins also close to parking area.

Cold refreshing lake superior water will take your breath away. Beach area was different. Little streams cut through the beach that you have to be careful crossing. Some picnic tables available and a great view at every angle.

Clean beach with free parking. Restrooms on site with running water. Picnic tables avail if you find one. There's no food on site but there's a restaurant and gas station just down the road. Once you park the water is right there. Easy to go back and forth to the car.

This is my childhood memory, we would go to Batchewana Bay for family outings. Going back as an adult is a treat because its a beautiful place to swim. The water is not too cold, just right, you can walk quite a ways out as the sand bar is far out. It's all sand! There are some small rocks when you first go in, but all sand as you go out further. Lots of beach area, so there is always a spot. There is the park side which is where you pay, or you can park at Voyager's Station, walk across the highway and take a spot along the beach there. Looking forward to going back again next year! Also a must, visit the famous Apple fritters shop, you won't be disappointed!

Stunning beach, crystal clear water, warm and pure sand. Basically Cuba in Ontario. We absolutely loved this place. So worth the drive.

WELL MAINTAINED! UNDERRATED! For a beach that might seem a bit remote I can tell you, it’s amazing. It’s so peaceful and the beach strip continues down for a couple of kilometres. The sand is relaxing and water is a good temperature. Not to mention how the water is crystal clear, which is extremely uncommon in Southern Ontario since I am from that area. It’s a great place to camp a night out and has features for an RV such as electricity. I went very far out in the water and it only gets belly button level deep beyond that I am not sure?. It’s child friendly and this is just the Pros for the beach. I had not had the chance to explore the rest of the beach. To conclude, this is an underrated beach and honestly a luxury to those in the Sault St. Marie region as it is a 40 minute drive from the city, when passing along to Thunder Bay it is just a breathtaking view. Would love to visit again.

What a beautiful stop on highway 17. There are picnic tables. Beautiful beach to enjoy on a hot summer day or just to explore. Washrooms are open all year round. A must stop.
