It was one of the worst shopping experience in my life. I felt bullied and harassed into paying for my items at the beauty counter. I can understand they have some different procedures and commissions, but having 3 different people follow me around and argue with me, when I have paid for my stuff at the normal check out many times before, it was disrespectful. There is a point where you just need to let me go, I am paying for them somehow, i'm not stealing them. I did not appreciate being bullshited and told I have to pay there because "we advise people", I did not ask for any advice, I was busy and in a rush, and it turned into a ridiculous and stupid argument that could have ended if they had just let me do my shopping. and as a black woman, seeing a white woman follow me while i'm shopping, while I know it probably wasn't racially motivated and it was to make sure I did indeed go back to the beauty counter (which is at the back of the store, and that was my issue, the inconvenience of going back to them), well, it was extremely uncomfortable

Terrible pharmacy. I’ve found the workers there to be rude and unhelpful. They were also gatekeeping rapid tests when they are mandated to hand them out freely to the public. The store is good, and beautiful, but the pharmacists desperately need some customer service training, and better policies.

This is the worst floor managed Shoppers Drug Mart I ever go to. When you want a raincheck, they make you wait, as they look for the product in back, even when you've asked them beforehand. Then to top it off, when I said that this is an unacceptable wait, time after time, I'm told I can always do my shopping elsewhere. That's a very rude attitude by this girl manager. Not to mention this location never opens on time. It's always 10 mins after posted time.

My experience was *HORRIBLE*, the mrs. at the makeup counter a brunette brown skin has yelled at me in a derogatory term way and called security as if I had done something so bad, like taking a picture!!!, she yelled at me eh insult yelling at the guard to take my phone. It should be noted that the building is beautiful and therefore it is to be admired and naturally one wants to keep a memory of the beauty of this theater and there is NO visible sign that prohibits it

Such a beautiful building that’s situated within a historic theatre. I was extremely disappointed when I went to take a picture of the details on the walls and the antique projector, the Shoppers security guard rudely shouted at me said β€œno taking pictures”. I asked why and he just said β€œit says so on the front of the store”. What a stupid policy. When I asked the other store staff, they had no idea why I had been told not take a picture. Why bother transforming a historic building into a store, if you’re just going to ban people from taking a picture.

I filled a prescription over the phone and was told to wait fifteen minutes for it to be filled upon arrival. I came back fifteen minutes later and each time, they said dismissed me saying it would be another fifteen minutes. This went on for over an hour. The kicker is that this location doesn't have a washroom available to customers and hasn't since before the pandemic. The closest one that I could find is the public washroom in High Park. I feel bad for the elderly and sick people who are forced to wait an hour for their meds in a drug store with no washroom. But hey, Loblaws only made 2 billion dollars in profits last year, I guess it's too much to ask them to hire more pharmacists or have washrooms.

This shoppers has given me trouble on many occasions. Once when I tried to return an item, which the cashier claimed was damaged but the box was unopened, I had the bill and within the timeframe of the return policy; yes the box was a bit dinged but nothing crazy. I was told I couldn't get a refund but store credit on a gift card. 2nd time was at the pharmacy where I was questioned within an inch of my life for iron pills. I'm a woman who is a pescatarian, I have low iron! A prescription isn't needed so just give me my damn iron pills. 3rd time was during 2020 in the height of the pandemic where upon entering was asked by security to remove my backpack and leave it unguarded near the entrance. Are you going to reimburse me when someone steals my backpack? No! I told the security it was a ridiculous policy as women with purses weren't asked to do the same thing. I found the policy to be ageist against young people, who are more likely to wear backpacks as opposed to purses. I gladly left the store as I wasn't going to give money to such a business. I never went back during that time, the only positive thing to say is the location and the building itself inside is gorgeous. Other than that one of the worst Shoppers I've visited.

This is by far the worst. pharmacy in the city. Every time I go there are different people working, who have no clue what their doing. If you have to call in it is even worse, I once waited 30 minutes to speak to a pharmacist who was very short with me. I was there today and they told me my benefits weren't going through. I called up my provider immediately afterwards and they said my account was fine! The last time I picked up a prescription (mind you, I'd never taken the medication before) and the girl just passed it to me and called the next customer. They also always make your pick up for medication for the full three months, regardless of the cost. Common sense would say if a prescription costs $400 a month, just fill it for the one month.
