Got passport photos taken here, went to service Canada and they didn't approve the photos. Do NOT go here for passport photos. Go to Walmart instead, they use Kodak software to approve it for a passport photo. Also, shoppers was $25. Walmart is $10 right now. To conclude, the Walmart photo got approved, the shoppers one didn't.

I arrived 7 minutes before close and they were starting to lock up (lock the front doors and put the cages up). I stood at the door as they were locking up and the manager saw me and proceeded to continue to lock up, even after knocking on the door. I was going to pickup my wife’s prescription which was needed and hadn’t had a chance until then. Very frustrating and unprofessional.

The green-haired lady in the beauty section is SOOOOOO HELPFUL?. Every single product she has ever recommended, from hair care to makeip, works perfect for me. She really listens to my needs and recommend products accordingly. This store is lucky to have her

I highly recommend not going to the Pharmacy at this location ( university plaza SDM ) - we have had continuous issues with their pharmacy team over charging us for prescriptions, as well as lacking compassion with inquires about medication, negative responses over the phone, long long long on hold wait times, being told our medication will be ready in 1 hour, to come back in 2 hours and again waiting for 20-30 minutes. Consumer service goes a long way... Today after arguing with us for HOURS in store and over the phone about our private benefits for our 5 year old Inhaler and Antibiotic medication - they first tried to tell us it would cost us 150$ for the prescription for a 5 year old ( yes, FIVE year old ) my husband had to call me in panic questioning what to do - which made NO sense as we have private insurance!? But then thinking to myself IF for any reason my child was not covered they automatically get covered under OHIP + until 24 years of age! So here i am arguing with the receptionist over the phone about why they would even think charging us 150$ is appropriate and if they again CLAIM we DO NOT have private insurance, as then the kids are covered under OHIP. I argued that she needs to re-look at her computer as we have INSURANCE and again she refused to even comprehend what I was saying. Suddenly she says the submitted it through the government and we have to pay 6.75$ which again is confusing and wrong as OHIP would cover 100% and IF THEY WOULD GO THROUGH OUR INSURANCE, we would pay 3.99$ for a dispensing fee. so again after 2 hours of calling Shoppers to question, being told someone will call me back after shes on BREAK ( and never did, i waited well over an hour) , and Calling my Insurance company to clarify and confirm i am correct, then again again calling SDM Pharmacy to be put on hold for around 10 minutes, the Pharmacist picks up the line only to have a similar conversation about how we are incorrect - ONLY to finally listen to the costumer and what i am actually saying.....where i let them know maybe they need to change the input of the claim information.... Suddenly we have Private Insurance for our children. thank you for making our night frustrating and refusing to properly communicate with your clients. we will be taking our prescriptions after we obtain our refund and go elsewhere.

Bad experience at this SDM on March 14, 2022. Went for a Covid antigen test. Walaa Heshin was going to do the test. Watched her interact with customers for about 15 minutes before my test. I asked her 3 times to clean her hands before collecting my swab. She refused. She said she would wash her hands after my swab…good protection for her but not for me! I ended up doing the swab myself. Hand hygiene is the single most important way to reduce the transmission of Covid. Not sure why a healthcare professional would not understand that and would refuse to clean her hands when asked. Stay away from this SDM.

rude managers Went there twice, the cashiers were nice, but the manager was very rude, wouldn’t stop for one second to answer my question as to whether they offered passport services. But proceeded to yell across the store that β€œthey’re not in” and wouldn’t answer me when I asked when or if they might be in the next day. So I left. My second visit the next day. I was asking for passport services again I was met with a very rude girl who got mad at me for asking about which passport services they offer... only for her to brush me off saying she only takes photos. I understand that they are doing their jobs but I don’t understand the rudeness when I am being polite and asking simple questions.

I booked a booster shot, came in time but the team to service us was very disorganized. The line was building up while a young Indian-looking nurse was sitting and playing with her phone for 20 min. When we complained, she filled out 4-5 syringes and put them aside, still not taking the next client. I don't think she should do it. The shot itself was much more painful than the previous 2 that i did in Toronto. I still wonder how did she manage to cause so much pain with such a tiny needle. Then she gave me a printout with the time when I can leave, except that time has long past. This means pple with complications would not wait for 20 min and leave right after the shot, against the guidelines. My husband visited the in other time slot and had even more delays, despite of booking.

Known to disconnect their phones, which is especially convenient when you are calling in a prescription. Like right now, once again I've been on hold for over an hour.. Show up in -store for the prescription and you can wait 2-3 hours, while the pharmacy takes their dinner breaks. I really feel like the pharmacy team doesn't give a S:*t. The pharmacy I used prior to this one was friendly and helpful, considerate and tardy. Usually only one retail cashier at the front of the store, who is no where to be found, and then will direct you to self- checkout.. I absolutely hate this Shopper's location.
