Shoppers Drug Mart

I want to first say that if there was an award for the best Pharmacist in GTA then the pharmacist at this location named Zahraa would be the winner. If there was an award for the best Shoppers Drug Mart in GTA, then this location would win because the pharmacy owner, Sarah only hires the best people to run her store and pharmacy. I want to begin by saying that I observed Zahraa's exemplary leadership when I was waiting to get my COVID shot. I realized from my observations that the only thing she cares about is patient care. She was dealing with a walk-in scenario and appointments for COVID shots. Despite the chaos and craziness she never lost her patient or ever got frustrated. Like a true leader she led by example as she was courageous and optimistic throughout the whole time. She was not only dealing with a chaotic situation with COVID shot but at the same time she was doing her regular duties as a pharmacist giving direction to everyone while at the same time answering phone calls and providing guidance to patients about their drugs. She was also very warm and compassionate towards those waiting for a shot. She went out of her way to accommodate everyone. She also did not eat or drink anything because for her patients came first over everything else. I definitely salute Zahraa and tip my hat to her for her amazing leadership during crisis times. I also want to say that the Pharmacy owner Sarah is also a very warm, compassionate, and friendly person that only cares about patient care and customer satisfaction. Despite the chaotic times right now Sarah treats everyone like a part of her extended family. In order to help people through the pandemic she allowed her pharmacy to offer walk-ins. She wanted to do her part to meet the government's mandate to get as many shots in arms as possible. She also goes out of her way to accommodate people and treats any feedback you give her as a gift. Her values are also shared by her staff and this is the reason why this Shoppers Drug Mart is packed and busy. I am a huge fan of this Shoppers Drug Mart, Pharmacy, Zahraa, and Sarah. This shoppers drug mart is a one stop shop for all of your needs and it has my highest recommendation. I wish there was an option to give more than a 5 star rating.

Staff (indian guy at the counter) refused to help me with my return. He ordered me to go the original store of purchase despite of the fact that you can return item to any Shoppers location.

I legit bought these chocolate 4 days ago and I looked at the back to see the chocolate was expired …. I would definitely not recommend anymore coming here. The fact that these were expired in 2021 dec shows how lack of their knowledge and inventory is. 3 months of expired food on their shelves waiting for costumers to pick it up… could imagine just how expired and disgusting the other items could be. I would definitely never come back here and would not recommend anyone to come here!

I dropped into the Square One Shopping Centre location this afternoon and it was BUSY! Nevertheless, I was able to pick up one item and use the self serve check to minimize the wait because there were at least 6 shoppers waiting in the staff-assisted checkout line. This store offers many of the typical SDM store items except no perishable grocery items like eggs, milk, and cheese. A Canada Post outlet is located at the back of the store; to the left of the Prescription department.

I’ve been getting my meds from here for the past five years, I have epilepsy and I take medication everyday so I essentially need them to live a normal life. The service used to be really good and fast but now it seems like management changed and getting my meds has been a pain for the past 2-3 months. They’ve forgotten to ask for re-fills twice (which is a service they are supposed to offer), which has led to me almost not getting my medication in time. Another time they misplaced my medication and tried to justify it saying thst my family member already picked it up and gave me a random Spanish last name as the pickup name then it took them over 30 minutes to finally find the bag with my name on it. Last time they didn’t get me the 3 month worth of medication that I usually get, so today when I called to get my other month in advance they said that I can’t get it, and wouldn’t call my doctor directly for permission but had me calling their office and my doctor’s multiple times - note that I wouldn’t have had to do this if they hadn’t messed up in the first place. I really tried to give their new pharmacy team a try but they’ve done nothing but disappoint me and clearly lacked the ability to understand how important medication is for someone with a chronic illness.

Absolutely horrible experience at the beauty boutique. The sales lady there was slamming my items on the purchase counter, talked to me with such a degrading horrid tone, and she was aggressive towards me and my mother with her words and tone for no reason. I remained very calm and did not respond back as to not let her get to me, but left the store feeling extremely upset by the way I was treated. I will not be coming back to buy anything ever again. This used to be my go to store, but customer service has been horrible lately.

The Canada Post inside this Shopper is my place to go for my mail needs. They are very attentive and they are willing to do the best to help the customers and they are very kind and caring to the clients. I wish them the best in their duties because they really give a great customer service with patience.
