★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered food from UBER Eats with them, got a shawarma platter and a Fattoush salad, asked for extra salad dressing, didn’t get any dressing at all which is disappointing when you order a full complete salad. There was also a hair in the salad.
Barbican was room temperature.
I wouldn’t order from them again, there are many better places in Calgary for Fattoush and shawarma! It’s not cheap either, I love helping local restaurants…but this wasn’t worth it at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know very well most of the shawarma places in Calgary. This one has a masterpiece! I know this is a BIG statement, but it’s probably the best! I eat shawarma's EVERYWHERE and this is at the very top of my list now. That green Chile spice sauce is GOLD and the extra time and the crispy wrap is just awesome! Thank you!

Long live Shawarma Ave. Hoping for many, many years of continued success. I wish they had stuffed grape leaves though!!! That's their only strike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All the service crew were great and knows what they’re doing. Fast and accurate service. Clean dining area with a few chairs and tables. I ordered a large Beef Donair wrap with their famous Sweet and Sunshine (Hot) sauce. The wrap was big, good enough for two! The sauce was very delicious and that makes it different from other shawarma places. Only issues we had is the parking area, there’s none so we just ordered take-out. Coming back next time!
