We have had very good service from Shaughnessy and we received the same very good service this time. we did make a decision to purchase a new washing machine based on feedback from the Shaughnessy technician.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Person who visited our home was extremely knowledgeable ( Sorry i do not remember the name ) our fridge was leaking he fixed it and we realize issue started again after couple day , he came back and this time he totally removed all the pipes from the back side of the fridge and its been over 6 month we have seen no leak . Our gill on the gas stove had a crack , they replaced it . it did took some time to get the delivery because of covid but as soon as they received it they replaced it . Very good service .

The are always friendly and professional, always on time and never fall to fix the appliance without upselling to maximize the trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shawn came today to check out our washing machine. Its wasn't the total outcome we were hoping for but he was honest. It could have replaced the drain pump but he also mentioned that the bearing was also going and the cost to replace the pump and than the bearing would be more than a new machine. I was totally impressed with his honestly. Even though he didn't replace anything today I would call them again if I needed service on another service on an appliance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the technician was well informed, polite and professional. i only gave 4 star rating because we are seniors and he didn't offer the 10% discount until after we paid and asked if it was given . well it was only 10$ and really not a lot of money. he didn't really look interested in redoing the bill.
thus no tip. we like giving tips to people who give exceptional service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience, had 2 visits as they had to order parts to complete the repair. Both times the employees were friendly and easy to talk to. Work done was quick and saved us having to buy a new washer, price was very reasonable. They even called letting us know they could fit us in for an earlier appointment than we scheduled. Would recommend!

UPDATE- We finally got the part from Samsung that we HAD to order ourselves (which was out of stock for a while due to Covid), and 100% the tec did not put a hinge grommet in when he replaced the fridge door which caused the damage. I called Shaughnessy again and they still refuse to take responsibility for their negligence of their repair tec on the repair!! See the pictures!.............................!!!
Original Post - While doing renos the workers scratched my new fridge. They hired Shaughnessy Appliance to replace the one, scratched, french door. In approximately 13/14 months I noticed the one door was "dragging badly" so investigated closer. In a very hard to see spot I noticed deep grooves in the hinge to the left door that they replaced. (The repair guy forgot to put a hinge grommet in between the new door and the hinge). The other door hinge on the right side door, still the original, is perfectly fine. I called Shaughnessy and told them about the failed repair and they would not do anything about it. It would be a cost of over $500 to us to replace the 14 month old door once again. They would NOT take any responsibility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joe from Shaughnessy appliance repair came to repair our fridge. Incredible friendly person who’s well educated about the product he was repairing. He never tried to sell us something we didn’t need. As well he educated myself on a great deal of maintenance items that can extend the life of our kitchen appliances.
A service technician like this is very hard to find and anything that needs repair I will be sure to call Shaughnessy and ask for Joe. Great work and a very fair price. Highly recommend.
