The selection of yarn is amazing and they make a point of stocking yarn from smaller companies and independent dyers. I can always find something to satisfy my yarn itch here, as can be seen by the explosion of my yarn stash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful selection of yarn from bigger companies (lots of Cascade!) to smaller indie brands. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable and I love coming here. The sock room is my favourite and I could spend hours browsing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shall We Knit has been my go-to store for fancy yarn for nearly 10 years, and I've never fallen out of love with it.
With the distinct and separate rooms for sock, lace, and other yarns, you won't have trouble finding what you're after. The knowledgeable staff make success a breeze, and seem to have uncanny mind reading abilities.
This is not a discount shop, so don't go here looking for the cheapest yarns you can find (unless it's closet week) but do take the time to look and touch and sniff the stock at Shall We Knit - it's such an experience!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful store with so many nooks and crannies filled with yarnie goodness. The owner was friendly and super helpful, and the resident puppers was a super cutie. He was so still I didn't know if he was real! Excellent selection of yarn and notions!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently moved to the Kitchener area and was happy to find this wonderful yarn store. The staff are really knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Shall We Knit? has a great selection of quality yarns. I also like the fact that there are many sample garments throughout the store. They also offer lots of knitting and crochet classes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply the best! Fantastic selection (from larger companies to small Indies) and a whole room of sock yarn! Staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I can always count on having a great experience when I walk in the door. They've ordered in several skeins of yarn for me over the years, they always go above and beyond to help. Just lovely.

I've gotten a number of things from here over the years and have always been happy with the yarns and such. Also, they offer knitting lessons, I took one to learn how to do brioche knitting and was super happy with the learning experience.
