β β β β β It had all the overpriced supplies I was looking for.
If you are looking for expensive art stuff. You can't argue with the selection at Michael's.
I'm excited to own paintbrushes that don't have wobbly heads or random stray bristles.
The canvas prices are over the top however, go to Dollarama or KW surplus for your Canvas needs.

BUT I have one problem out of their control
The cosplay section is being downgraded, all the paints I love are gone now... A lot of the glue is gone, all the light up stuff, which was waaaay too expensive
Basically everythibg useful is being purged, but of course not the Worbla ?
Not the stores fault, definitely the companies fsult but still sucks

β β β β β Security way too high, felt automatically judged, and stereotyped. I support stores run like this as it makes me uncomfortable, and rushed. I grabbed the bare minimum, and left even though they had a pretty good sale on their overpriced paint.

β β β β β Best place in Region of Waterloo! I bought a frame and had little issue abt finishing quality at the frame, So went back to exchange to better one. The young lady (sorry don't know her name) was awesome helped find better frame with patiently manner and nice explanations! Thank you all! :)

β β β β β I usually come to this Michaels since it always has more of the items I need in stock than the one closer to my house. So far the employees have been really kind and helpful, but my experience today was disappointing. The cashier didn't ring up some of my items for some reason? I drove all they way home and realized 1/3 of my stuff wasn't there. It's 15 minutes from my house and gas money really isn't cheap right now. So I had to spend another 30+ mins going there and back for the items. I explained it on the phone before I decided to drive back since I was confused about it. When I came back in, the same cashier was kinda rude and I didn't get a sorry or explanation or anything. The employees are usually really kind and helpful and I understand if someone might be having a bad day, but this left me feeling too anxious to come back :(
