β β β β β Some of my favourite memories from first year university were made in the dining hall. For a guy that eats a lot of food I think the meal plan is a more than fair price for what you get. I've been a couple times recently and the meal fee is fair. Some of the staff is really nice and makes the experience better but there are a couple people there that could use an attitude check. The main reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the food get too repetitive. I know its hard to change things up every day but getting the red curry 3-4 times a weeks gets old fast when you're on the meal plan for 4-12 months.

β β β β β Open 24/7. All you can eat buffet style, so you can get some good value. The desserts are always fantastic. The food in general is fairly good, but some days are better than others. That being said, the cleanliness could be improved in the washrooms. Overall, a solid dining hall.

β β β β β Very fairly priced especially for students. One thing to note is the freshness of the hot food since it usually sits for a long time. Better than ubc prices to fullneds ratio tho.

β β β β β ok food, fair price, don't know about staff. Offers hamburgers, pizza, fries (or things made of potatoes), hot dogs(or similar things) everyday. Doesnt offer East Asian food. Soups are okay, check the menu before you go to lunches/dinners. Serve almost the same food during breakfast time: bacon / sausage, scrambled eggs, oat meal, cereal, congee, omelette station, etc. You can expect to see 2 dishes made with potatoes for lunch n dinner hour.

β β β β β Pretty ok food; good given the price (if you live on Res). The staff are for the most part pretty nice (other then a certain lady who works at the grill). Breakfast is pretty standard. Lunch and dinner can be pretty nice, depending on the day.
