Sewer Specialist

I recently had some sewage backup which my usual plumber was unable to manage. I got the referral to contact Sewer Specialist from Cory Kloos at Macanta Design Build Inc. who was also very helpful. Brendon answered the call right away and came the next morning. He was extremely reassuring on the phone. In person, he was so respectful and courteous and was careful about touching things with his dirty gloved hands, which a lot of plumbers don’t seem to bother about. But most importantly, he found the blockage fairly quickly and also identified the “clean out” which no other plumber has been able to do for the past almost two decades of living in this old house! He then cleaned up very nicely and washed his hands! I have never seen a plumber wash their hands before! Thank you Brendon for the professional, efficient and clean service! We have an almost annual kitchen sink back up. I got in touch with Brendan, and he was able to come the next day. Polite, articulate and more importantly in my mind, he was very tidy and respectful of our space. He explained everything and fixed the issue in under an hour. First of all Brendan showed up early for the appointment, that right away tells me a lot about the individual. After a little discussion he got at it. I told him the cap on the main stack clean out has never been off as many plumber and myself through the years tried but were not successful to release it. He said he would give it a shot and 5 minutes later I got the thumbs up!!! He ran his machine from there under the basement floor and cleared out the obstruction. It had likely been there for a long time slowly getting worse. He then put the machine into another clean out in my rec room and cleared roots that were out front. When he was done I would have never known someone was down there with all the stuff he had. All I had to do was put the carpet back which I had pulled back before he arrived. The rental centres won’t touch his equipment. He has all the tools and knowledge specific to the job, I know this because I thought I had pulled out all the roots from the front….nope. I’m done hauling a 50lb machine out of my truck and downstairs only to find out I didn’t get everything. I like to do things myself but at the end of the day when the toilets, laundry, and shower/tub are not draining properly plus the basement stinks...... spend your cash once and call the pro, in my opinion. I want to stay ahead of this so we agreed on putting me into his calendar for a maintenance call a year from now. It will happen again (likely before a long weekend), roots and crud will always find the weak spots. On time, efficient, informative, polite and clean. To me a job well done and has my endorsement, cool looking van too.

Not only did he do an outstanding job he was also very kind and gave us great customer service. I could not recommend him enough! Made a stressful time very smooth and easy. Thanks a bunch!! I had Brendon come to my house to check the main drain after my basement flooded 2 weekends in a row due to lots of rain. The restoration company suggested that The main drain could be clogged. Brendon came down and discovered that the back water valve in the floor drain was seized shut not allowing ground water from the weeping tile to flow down the main drain. I also had Brendon use his camera to make sure the main drain was clear since It had never been checked before. Brendon was very friendly and knowledgeable, he explained everything he was doing and how everything worked. As well as what caused the flooding and how to prevent it from happening again. For a friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional company I highly recommend calling Brendon at Sewer Specialist.

What can I say? If i could give a 10 star rating I would. Professional exceptional service, great work explained to me what he was doing and the service provided. Explained to me about prevention and tips so that this does not happen in the future. Give Brendon a call. You will not regret it

Incredible service and pricing. Preventative maintenance plan is ingenious and website chockablock full of information so you can know what is going on. Brendon is excellent in explaining everything before, during and after the process. I would give a six stars if it was possible . As he is a independent owner operator he’s not charging you double and triple to funnel money up some food chain of a pyramid scheme that are the business model of larger sewer service providers.

No need to call anyone else. Brendon is quick, courteous, knowledgeable, and reliable. This guy knows his sewers! Highly recommend. We had a gurgle and sewer smell in the kitchen sink everytime we flushed the toilet. Brendon did a few checks and quickly assessed the problem. Tree roots. He has the tools and technology to get this, and any sewer problem fixed. I appreciate that he treated my home like he would his own. Very respectful, clean, and considerate of my space. He is a local business with very reasonable rates!
