Seven Star Medical Centre & Pharmacy

My Mother just changed over to this Pharmacy this week & they couldn't have been any more helpful than they were! They helped make the transition from her previous Pharmacy as easy as they could! Sam delivered my Mother's 1st blister pack which made her so pleased! Thanks Sam

DONT USE THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!! Let’s see... called last night and left a message about having a prescription refilled before I started work at noon the next day. I come in and Dr. Akladios’ office hadn’t sent it, even though the pharmacy is in the same room!! Receptionist asked if I could ha e a refill, since the nurse was busy and the doctor not around and he told her yes. Suddenly, there was a problem (which wasn’t a problem until he wanted it to be...), and he came and told me he could not fill it. At this point I am late for work, even though I called ahead to prevent this. And why tell her yes and then tell me no?? So I tried to explain, and that I was considering switching pharmacies to theirs and had driven specifically from my home which is NEXT TO shoppers drug mart where I normally go, alllllll the way, 20 minutes to this pharmacy. I was told by Dr. Akladios is was cheaper at 7 star. so after arguing with the pharmacist, he tells me that the doctor is out of the Country and I have to wait for her to return for my meds!!!! Which is LUDICROUS!!!! (Shoppers filled it for me...) I was getting another prescription filled, I took it back and refused to give any business to this terrible joke of a pharmacy!! I took all my prescriptions down to Shoppers where my regular pharmacist sold me OTC meds of the same brand I was getting to help me save more money! I tried 7 star once and paid $36 for meds. SAME meds at shoppers was $22 and the other one also $22 since he went OTC for me. THIS is the SERVICE that keeps me with Shoppers drug mart! Screw 7 star!! That place is a joke! And if you are at all interested in Dr. akladios.. She is pleasant. However every time there is work to be done I get the run around. “We will call you” they don’t. “We will mail you forms” they don’t. “We lost your paperwork.” They scheduled an appt for me wrong after I said that time didn’t work .. when I showed up 2 hours later for MY appt they got me in, but come on!!! Never call when they say they will, never do anything they say they will. It’s like a circus. Her office and this pharmacy deserve each other. New review bc they’re so BAD at reception Continuously schedule appts wrong. Once I had a 1pm appt, specifically for work and when u arrived they said they had it at 11, and I told them, “no, you offered 11, and I told you that did not work for me.” Today u get a counseling appt call, though my appt is next week. I call them to explain I did not have an appt today, again I am working, and it’s next week, they argue that I made the appt for today THEN confirm that I also have an appt next week SO I had back to back appts.... and still no apology that they booked this incorrectly again. I am weary of all appts with them as this keeps happening. Reception seems to need a lot of reminders and argues a LOT. When I called to make this appt, she interrupted me & rudely told me to give her dates WHILE I was giving her my availability dates. She told me to hang up n call back even though it took me a week to get a hold of anyone because the voicemail would screw up and repeat or tell me to enter an extension and bounce me. (Press ine to leave a msg. *presses 1* “please enter your 4 digit password....” ...) These guys SERIOUSLY need to get their act together and drop the attitude they have!! It’s extremely unprofessional. Latest: blatant disregard for prescription refills. This doctors office is hitting disgusting levels of I humanity for their patients. Refill requested FOUR DAYS AGO. Pharmacy doesn’t understand what is taking so long either. As always, patients get ignored to the point of malpractice. Dr Akladios has NOT returned any of my phone calls, messages are only able to be left with receptionist, NO VOICEMAIL SYSTEM THAT WORKS. If I don’t get a hold of the doctor my next path is a lawyer. This is beyond ridiculous now.

This is discrimination at its worst I’m so sick of not being able to get through to the doctor. She does not return calls ever!! Can’t get through to her. My mother needs blood work has been waiting for 7 months. This is ridiculous.

Very disorganized and unprofessional group of people. I had my blood work done back in Oct 2019 and called to book a missed appointment. Phone lines were busy 24/7, Dr. Hala always on vacation and their secretary had the nerve to call me in January to ask about my pregnancy!!4 months later...!! I told her I changed my doctor cos im in my 2nd trimester now and no one got back to me after numerous voicemails. She proceeded to give her thoughts on how they're busy etc and rude enough to not let me speak in between. I don't need an explanation, I just need a family doctor who will be there for me when I need her!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. Akladios herself has always been lovely with me. But her office is an absolute circus. They don't care about anyone or anything. You'll never be able to get through to them; and if you do FINALLY get through to speak to someone, they'll blow you off. I take medication for anxiety, which works on the serotonin neurotransmitter. There was a delay with me taking this very important medication, and when I tried to take it again I was violently sick because my body could no longer handle the high dosage (100mg). As I just graduated, I can no longer see my school psychologist, and I was told to follow up with my family doctor. When I tried to get an appointment (calling and calling and calling for soooo many days!!!!) they told me there was no room. I said "all I need is a lowered prescription (like 25 mg): would she be willing to fax it? This is an emergency and going without the medication at all is causing me harm." They said they would call me back. They returned my call just before the clinic closed. At first they said I could have an appointment for the following day. I wasn't happy, but better than nothing... Then they asked me which location I see the doctor at... ? Um hello, the one I'm calling?? The one you're booking the appointment for??? Then the receptionist makes a big stink about how long it's been since I've seen the family doctor (geese, sorry I'm a healthy 26-year-old aside from my issues with anxiety), and all of a sudden apparently I can't have the appointment for tomorrow. "Go to the hospital if it's an emergency," they say, "or you can wait until September." What is wrong with this office? My emotions have been all over the place: what if I self-harmed? What if this was the last straw? This office should be ashamed of themselves. They literally put me in harms way by REFUSING TO HELP ME. I'm a human being, and this was my family doctor. These people don't care about you at all. Go find a place that does.

I've seen other reviews about refilling medication and can confirm she is the worst at refilling prescriptions!! What about people who have more life threatening medication needs? Forget it, you're not going to get the prescription you desperately need. Every employee is extremely friendly except for one lady at reception. She's older and doesn't seem to care about anything or anyone. She needs to change her attitude! Besides staff being friendly, every other experience I've had here has been absolutely horrible. Nobody knows what they're doing. Definitely dissapointed and will not be coming back.

Dr. Akladios is a very concerning professional and a patient caring that always offering the best practices and medical services for the health promotion of her clients. Very good doctor to have. Thank you

Dr Akladios is a caring physician who takes her time to listen to your issues and will get back to you. The new ? staff has been exceptionally helpful and accommodating.In these times as we have been experiencing during this pandemic one can hopefully understand that most things have not been running as we would have hoped or as we have been used to . Soon we hopefully will be returning to a normal life with easier access to our healthcare providers. At this time a lot of people are agitated and fed up because we are not used to having to wait .I believe it is because we have been spoiled ,life has been nice and easy for a lot of us not all of us of course, we all have our trials and tribulations who doesn't ? As far as I'm concerned I am very pleased with how I have been treated and find that Dr Akladios and her staff are doing a great job in these difficult times ! You all have a wonderful day and be kind to your fellow men .
