Dentistry on 7th

My daughter has been looking forward to coming to this office for a consultation as she has been dealing with health issues which has affected her teeth and has also resulted in chronic tooth pain. She is also a frontline nurse working in an extremely busy emergency department. On the day of her appointment with this office, her work had a staffing crisis because of Covid 19 which meant it was all hands on deck and many nurses, my daughter included, had to work a double shift without little notice. This is not the first time since the start of the pandemic, and it most likely will not be the last time. If you are following any type of news or media outlets on the progression of Covid 19, most people are well aware of the influx of patients coming to the emergency departments which has created an intense stressor on our healthcare system. In addition, there is a chronic shortage of nurses which is leading to exhaustion and burn out. She tried seeing if she could change her initial appointment time when her management extended her shift at work or possibly go on a cancellation list. Instead of trying to work with her and being understanding of what an emergency department may look like right now because of the pandemic, she was told she would have to wait until the new year to have her consultation and the appointment was cancelled by this office altogether. This appointment was also just made 5 days ago. It is unbearable to watch her work through exhaustion and now to add health issues including her dental concerns which involves chronic tooth pain. I am disappointed that there was a lack of consideration by the office of what our frontline healthcare workers are dealing with in the emergency departments and other high acuity areas. I think some of us have lost sight of what is really happening in the emergency rooms and intensive care units. It was beyond my daughter’s control to have to stay beyond the end of her shift due to the ongoing staffing shortages, especially now with the Omicron variant. Very disappointing that the office was not able to work with my daughter as she goes above and beyond for her community to ensure they receive the best possible medical care every day she goes into work. It is heartbreaking that we cannot give these same individuals some accommodation and understanding especially with what they are faced with during their shift. I will be looking for another dentist for her today to ensure she receives the dental treatment she was looking forward to receiving from Dentistry on 7th. This just made my very upset that this is the treatment and consideration these frontline workers are receiving when they go above and beyond for their communities and work selflessly and tirelessly.

Great experience here, I had a treatment plan that’s almost all complete and so far everything is turning out perfectly exactly how I imagined my crowns to look. I’m very happy I found this dentistry I will be a lifetime client! All the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Thank you ?

My temporary crown has fallen off three times and I still have a week to go before getting the permanent one. The dentist just didn’t glue it down properly in the first place. She also kept jamming her instruments into my teeth and lips. Everyone else has been wonderful. Update: My treatment was taken over by Dr. Sarna. He put things right and all has gone smoothly with the additional work that I needed. I felt much better being under his confident, compassionate care.

The greatest, most kindest people! Not only made sure I had a great experience, but the hygienist actually motivated me to quit my smoking by showing me what it was doing to my teeth.

I’ve finally found my dental team. Everyone here is so wonderful. A great experience overall. Excellent with my son. Highly recommended.

I went to Dentistry on 7th for my first appointment this week. The service provided, as well as the patient care and overall experience was amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Aisha, my dental hygienist, was incredible! She was professional, very knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to my comfort as her patient. She is also a wonderful conversationalist, which makes the time pass nicely! I would highly recommend visiting Dentistry on 7th for a cleaning session with Aisha! She is amazing!

This entire team has been phenomenal from start to finish. I have never had such great care taken of me from a dental office before. From day one my best interests were in their hearts and the entire team did their best to make me feel safe and respected. I am currently still in recovery and the team has continued to check up on me and make sure that all of my needs are met. I have already recommended them to every single person who has asked me about my brand new smile. The ladies here have especially made my experience here worth every single penny. I will never go anywhere else again. Don’t hesitate! They actually care and are here to help. You’re not just a pay cheque to this team. It’s an amazing difference from so many other horrible experiences I have encountered in Hamilton. I can not thank Dentistry on 7th enough! I’m still in a lot of pain but would love to share more of my experience when I’m all healed and feeling myself again!
