★ ★ ★ ★ ★ called to inquire about dropping off a cat (which is a pretty heartbreaking experience) & they explained that they don't take cats from people who don't live in valleyfield. Tried to call back a few moments later to ask more questions, and no one picked up the phone. This happened a few more times, then they started Declining Calls. When we arrived at the building to ask our unanswered questions, there were 3 employees all just chatting and sitting at the front desk doing absolutely nothing.
We were re-directed to the SPCA in Beauharnois and the lady there was extremely kind and sympathetic. She listened to our situation and told us that because we don't LIVE in beauharnois, there'd simply be a fee to pay for dropping off our cat because THEY ACCEPT. ALL. PETS. like an spca should.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adopted my cat from them. Now I need an appointment through them to have my cat fixed. I tried calling several times, left 3 voicemails over a period of two weeks, never heard back from them. I messaged them on Facebook because I couldn't find an email. They read my message and didn't answer. Not impressed. My cat meows all night long and I mentioned it to them that we cannot sleep properly and that he needs to be fixed asap. Still nothing...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice building with adequate space for the cats. However they were not well taken care of.
There were at least 3-4 employees in the building sitting around chatting and not working.
The litter boxes were dirty, the water bowls were full of fur and the cats were all matted. Very sad. A few minutes of work could make their quality of life much better.
