★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long waits, that was the bad thing, I had to wait for 5hrs but can't do much as there are only 2 people working on the SIN, would recommend you guys to go by 10:30 AM if you are going late and you would receive it by 3:30-4pm, which is also the close time for the service or else come before that, like early at 8:30 or before if you don't have the time to wait for so long. The people are really effective, efficient and professional and are doing there best to provide you the service with great care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited three hours before business on this day, but went home. Then, on that day, I sent the application documents and the passport with the expiration date by mail. However, I haven't got my passport until today. Waiting for 2 months now.Jun 7.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long wait time. Saw aged people and people with kids standing for over 2-3hours in the cold. The security lady was nice. Once you get inside the office it is another 30minutes (approx) but I certainly wish there were more officers to assist people as this is the most basic thing you need upon landing in Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lined up 25min after opening, waited in line 3 hours to get in the building. Once you get in, there's another line which takes about 15 min to see one of the three employees working. The process of renewing my passport took 15 minutes. The agent was kind and efficient.
Wear comfy shoes, bring an umbrella, and maybe a chair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone here is doing the best they can - I had a good experience with everyone I encountered (two security guards and the individual who helped me with my passport).
They are short staffed, so show up early. I arrived 23 minutes before they opened and was 12th in line. With two agents working, I was out at 10:30 (2.5 hours later).
Be aware that the parking in front of the office is only for 2 hours maximum and is likely not enough time.
Be kind to each other and the staff - everyone is doing their best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived @ 7:00AM to process my two kids passport (they expire In October this year but we are traveling in summer). I must say it wasn't that bad due the circumstances. Was out by 10:15 am. So try to arrive as early as you can (before office opens at 8:30am), that way you will be in the front line and be out in less than 2 hours after the office opens. When I arrived there I had about 10 people before me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my experience here was about as good as it can be. My advice - GET HERE EARLY. I got there 10 mins before opening and there was already 6 people, by the time I got in there was around 12 people behind me. I went to get my passport renewed and it took about an hour - not bad considering I had no appointment and 6 people ahead of me.
Everyone I dealt with was pretty efficient and about as friendly as you can be in a Govt job.
The gentleman I dealt with when renewing passport (Didn't get his name) was polite, clear, and made sure I had done everything right - he even let me correct a few errors.
A good experience, but GET HERE RIGHT WHEN THEY OPEN. It gets busy quick and you spend most of your time in line. If it took me 45 minutes to get service with 6 people ahead I can only imagine how long it takes for latecomers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slow service Canada. Took 3+hours to get 1 sin number. People waiting in line out side on the street as well as inside. Only 3 staff in building. No one picks phone to try to get an appointment. Online takes minimum 15 days. Get your act together please. This is completely unacceptable.
