About Serene Escapes Day Spa
Serene Escapes Day Spa came under new ownership in March 2015 and is now open 7 days per week. It is owned and operated by 2200hr RMT’s Scott and Karin Thompson. We are conveniently located in the Creekside Shopping Centre at #12 – 12192 Symons Valley Road NW in Calgary, AB.
We are partnered with WaySpa and we accept all WaySpa & SpaFinder gift cards and gift certificates. We also offer gift certificates that can be used on all of our products and services within the spa. Some of the products that we love here are Dermalogica and Footlogix; both product lines are available for purchase at the end of your treatment. We also carry Hagina Japanese Mint Oil, Gehwol, OPI nail polish, and a variety of other nail and skin care products. Ask front desk or any of our estheticians for more information.
Serene Escapes Day Spa has an excellent staff comprised of registered massage therapists, if you just need to relax and escape the ordinary. Our laser technicians and certified estheticians are available for all of your skin health concerns or to help you pick out the right nail polish for your upcoming vacation. Each member of our team is an expert in their own field and truly cares about your well being. Although we are a spa, we also treat injuries, educate about health and wellness, and provide relaxation for men, women and children.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, This will give you time to unwind, enjoy a coffee or tea, and fill out any necessary paper work. If you prefer, our forms can be filled out in advance of your appointment by printing them from our "Forms" tab. If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. This gives somebody else the opportunity to fill your spot to come in and get pampered.
We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing scented products such as perfume, cologne, aftershave, body spray, etc. when you come for your appointment. Some of our staff and clients are sensitive or allergic to fragrances. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I didn't do my research and booked a manicure not realizing they don't have the tools to remove fake nails. BUT NEVER FEAR - my appointment wasn't ruined! I had THE BEST facial and eyebrow shaping of my ENTIRE LIFE. Seriously. no lies.
I'll be back, absolutely, without fake nails so I can enjoy a hopefully equally magical manicure. I have high expectations now!
Please note if you're not able to climb steps, pedicure services aren't accessible for you which isn't awesome. But the beds in the waxing room and the facial room are power adjustable for height and my specialist was very accommodating to my personal needs as a disabled woman.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love getting a massage here. It was my first time getting one and well worth the 30 minute drive and prices are very reasonable. I may not be able to handle deep tissue massages but the relaxation ones are amazing. I would also highly recommend Vineeta. She knows what she is doing and can tell when to use the right amount of pressure. I will keep coming back for sure.
