S	Sai Family on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anything related to ski is an alien language in my household until my 13year old went to Dagmar ski hill with a family friend. He wanted to pursue skiing as a winter sport. Didn't want to discourage him. After reading lots of ski store reviews, went to Senecal Ski shop for curbside shopping. We were greeted by a gentleman named Chris. What can I say about him? Truly a nice human being with a pure passion. Upfront, I told him that we are going to be trying the boots and we will NOT make a decision of purchasing. That didn't dampen his enthusiasm. He brought so many pairs of boots from inside for my son to try. I already knew that we had to have ski socks to try the boots. We purchased the socks and my son happily tried various boots. Chris gave lots of tips for how to put and take the boots. We purchased goggles and ski gloves. After spending almost an hour walked out with no boots but Chris gave us a work order with the boots information we shortlisted. I told Chris that we will take a week to make the decision. I couldn't find time to go back to the store. Not even once, the shop called to push me to purchase. Finally we went back around closing time and we were the last customer. We got the boots, ski and helmet. Again, Chris blew us off with all this information sharing. How to carry the skis over shoulder without getting hurt etc etc etc. I wish he could teach. Overall, a very happy experience and definitely recommend this place. Will be shopping again for my daughter's skis soon.

Even though I was on a tight budget the employee who greeted me , Ian (and during his lunch I might add), was respectful and very knowledgeable and found amazing skis for my 10 year old. Thank you Ian, our experience with you made our day.

I've been getting my equipment here for over 25 years. The knowledge of the wide range of products they carry and skill to find you what you specifically need is amazing. I have witnessed their integrity on multiple occasions working with customers to get them the gear they needed, and not the more expensive items they wanted to buy. I go out of my way to buy all of me ski/board needs at Senecal and suggest the same for the people I teach.

My growing family of 8 boarders will not be shopping there again until they become sensible. Remember the toilet paper rush, the no cash policy,ect. All for nothing.

However, was very disappointed by the service. Both my son and I are fairly new to skiing/snowboarding, and we’re expecting to be guided through the process of buying new equipment. We were spoken to very disrespectfully, and we’re being instructed through the process very aggressively. This lead to an escalation of the situation, causing the employee to “rip” the boot off my foot and refuse to complete the sale. He continued to state “I don’t get paid enough for this”, and when asking to speak to someone else on the phone, they proceeded to justify their employees behaviours. In addition, my son was instructed to take off the socks provided before he “sweat” in them, so they could give them to someone else. I don’t about you, this is extremely unprofessional and unwarranted regardless of the type of customer requesting service. I felt ridiculous and did know how to react any other way than to get defensive. This place is disrespectful to new clients, and unsanitary. 1 star is far to generous.

We were in and out with awesome new gear without any hassle. Kids love their new skis and helmets. Would highly recommend! Nice family owned ski shop with many years experience helping families get out and spend time together on the slopes.
