★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware when buying golf clubs with head covers. I purchased a Cobra driver and 5 wood and did not ship with head covers and the store says they dont come with them. These come with the club from Cobra just like every manufacturer. Where did they go??? Store has decent sales on everything from time to time and is large with a good selection. I'll take my business to Golftown Aurora.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bike I wanted to pick up today as it was the last day for the sale and wasn't built. Manager, ella, admitted that this location wasn't aware of this model being on sale and due to technicians being backed up, they couldn't even give me a clear date as to when it would be built. Even called the Alliston location which took a long time waiting for the technician on hold and they also didn't have a single one built! Absolutely ridiculous to have a product ON SALE that ends that day and not even be able to pick it up. Severely disappointed and frustrated, if I could give 0 stars I would

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchase over $600 in clothing from the Sherway location and on one of the Nike tech fleece they forgot to take off the ink tag. So seeing that I live near upper Canada mall I went to the sportchek by the mall to ask if they can remove the tag. I walk in with the receipt and proceed to the counter to show my long receipt and explained to her that I purchased the clothing from another location but they forgot one tag. She asked which location I said if you look at the receipt it says sherway and the date was yesterday Saturday Oct 9th 2021 today’s date is Sunday Oct 10 2021 she then looks at the receipt and finds the item code and says oh no I can’t remove the ink tag because we don’t have the machine to remove it. I look at the register and see the machine. I say really? She says not all stores have the machine to remove an ink tag. I said ok and left. Clearly she was lying to me. I head back to sherway and they took it off no problem and apologize. While apologizing they said all SportChek have a machine to take off ink tags they prob didn’t want to do it for you… which was what I believed. So for the young lady who didn’t want to remove the ink tag it’s either your new and didn’t know or you just seen my appearance and didn’t want to do it even thought you took my receipt and found the item.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped in to Sportchek Newmarket while my wife was at the mall, had no real intention of purchasing anything. Damon Pearce was exceptional, patient and incredibly astute once I realized I did actually want to buy some new hockey gear. Fitted me with pants and skates in no time and I'm pretty fussy about my gear.
Then I find out he's a manager who had no real obligation to help me customer wise, what a great leader and true team player (no pun intended)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an absolutely amazing experience with one of the sales guys!!! He was very helpful unfortunately I don’t remember his name. But he is was on the shorter side ( as am I lol) I was blown away by his customer service. I came in Half an hour before close to get some
Work shoes and a leisure shoe. He was very patient and letting me try on every size needed!!! This guy is a super seller??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple of weekends ago I went in to pick up some skates after not having been on the ice in close to 20 years. The girl who helped me - Angelica, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to give me honest feedback on the brands and models while taking my budget into consideration. It is safe to say that this experience will have me continuing to come back to Sport Chek. Angelica is a stellar employee and her customer service was one that all businesses could benefit and grow from. Thanks again.
