Since you lower the requirement from offering an 'inspector report' to 'roof contractor estimation', lets talk about the roof. Firstly, I had a roof constructor check the roof in August and he think the roof is functioning well. From his professional opinion, the water is not coming from the roof, and I mentioned this information in my email of sep.2. The other thing is, within in all the leaking windows, some of them are feets away from the lower edge of the roof, there are located under the soffit. Windows of both the front and the back side of the house (under the soffit) are leaking. Do you still need roof contractor's estimation for them? If you take 10 minutes to stop by and take a look at the windows, you will get better idea of the condition, but you only want to see the 'report/estimation'.
I have changed all my windows and doors with Selcan. The windows are poorly installed, all of them have water leak. I have contact with Selcan many times this year, they played all the tricks on me: not responding my email for 2 weeks, asked me to provide an official inspector report to prove that water leak is from the window, then I required to fill a service request form to have the window manufacture checking the problem, and Selcan says "Sorry I can't, just get the inspector report first..." Now I directly talked with the window manufacture and they are starting an case for investigation. I'll try to update this thread once I get response from them.
Based on my experiences with them, I would suggest you not to go with Selcan, it will be really hard to deal with them when there is a problem, Also based on the installation of my windows(you can check the photos of the flashing below), its very possible that there will be a problem.
