First interaction: Door motor replacement.
Excellent service from Johnathan. On-time, courteous and efficient. He definitely knows his job and I was very happy with my first interaction with Dor Doctor.
Second interaction: Tension springs replacement.
Tyler and Chaz came and performed the springs replacement very efficiently within an hour. Great
job and thumbs up for both. Very polite as well.
John provided the first visit. All good and well explained. Very polite too and came back quickly with the right springs for the job along with Tyler and Chaz.
Overall great job from them all. I surely recommend Dor Doctor so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the guys at the parts doesn't care. I gave him the correct part number that I got from the opener company site, he gave me instead a part with a completely different number and he said "it will fit, number is different because it's made by another company". Back at home after 1 hour drive in traffic ... of course it doesn't fit, belt is completely different than the old one I have on the opener.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made the big mistake of not looking at google reviews before hiring door doctor. John gave me a quote for 250 to fix a lousy belt and clamp. I wasn't able to be home when he came and he charged my wife 350! I called him to notify him of the error and all I got was attitude. This is aside for the fact that he came two days later than he said he was going to come. I strongly do not recommend using this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over-rated, Significantly Over-priced and don't stand behind their work. Buyer beware!.
Called them, as I usually do ( every +/- 5 yrs) for a routine service/maintenance call / door adjustment.
I was upsold on nylon rollers to reduce the sound. Paid them before they could finish so that i could go to work. Much to my surprise they charged me 18$ per roller (18x 20 rollers) for items i later discovered cost a fraction (same rollers retail for 6$). Did not say anything as I never thought they would have such high mark-ups. Paid over 620$ for 30-40 minutes work. In my book thats really taking advantage of consumers. To add insult to injury they adjust the doors, but never the metal plates ( only on one of two doors) which allow you to lock the doors manually. They did the properly complete the work. Unfortunately, I only realized it when i had a power failure (could not lock the door). While I thought the servicing would be covered based on that the service man had mentioned to me, when I called they mentioned it was no longer under warranty. How could something you paid for, but never completed not be under warranty if it was never done to begin with. I was told someone would visit to exam, but that I had to pay (to undo 4 screws/ all but 5 minutes max.). Even at that...no one ever came by. Very disappointed. Will never call upon their services. Clearly not a customer centric company...and probably don't need the business given the amount of business going their was with the housing boom.

I highly recommend Door Doctor. Excellent service from our first call requesting a quote for 2 garage doors.
The salesman arrived on the scheduled date and time, delivery date was honored and the young men who came to install the doors, arrived right on time and were two of the most professional and pleasant workers we have had work in our home in over 40 years!!! Impressed on every level with Door Doctor - Service response, pricing and personnel!!
