Horrible service! The man and his wife were BOTH servicing one (1) client while I waited 30 minutes for one of them to answer my question... They both saw I was there, and none of them even said hello to me upon my arrival! I waited politely and at one point I had enough and politely interrupted them... The man asked me to wait a minute, which led to me waiting more time... Him and his wife were BOTH trying to close the deal on sewing machine and didn't care one bit about other clients! I personally refuse to set foot in that wretched place! I honestly wonder how they're still in business! Over the years I've spoken with other people about that place and their feedbacks were ALWAYS tremendously negative! Do yourself a favour by avoiding this place because there's really no service! It's horrendous! And go instead to Laval for example... There's a HUGE sewing machine shop there, where they also sell fabric! Fairview Sewing Center though, I think they don't even deserve a star at all!

After a terrible experience with Centre de Couture Patry in Vaudreuil it was a pleasure to deal with this center. He cleaned, service and oiled my old Singer machine that used to belong to my mother. He is very knowledgeable on all types of machines. I was so pleased with the service I brought my other singer (with zig zag stitch) in for servicing and it is ready already. The staff is very friendly and polite. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great place to get your sewing machines serviced. The man there has been doing it over 30 years and knows all the ins and outs. What blew me away was how fast he was able to fix my machine. I dropped it off on the weekend, he called me Monday to say he had to order a piece and how much it would be, and then it was ready Wednesday. This kind of speed is unheard of at bigger stores like Penelope, which have to wait for a repair guy to come once a week. Very happy and will go back to see him.

DO NOT GO HERE. This guy is a crook. Took in my 50 year old singer machine. Convinced me that it was worrth it since the new machines were all plastic and not worth the money . Charged me $220 to replace 2 broken cogs. Assured me that the other cogs were good. The machine was not reassembled correctly. Didn't work well. Returned and was adjusted. After 2 months of casual use the machine stopped working again. Looked inside the machine and 2 other cogs were broken. Thing is that cogs work in pairs. Of the 2 pairs of cogs he only relaced one of each. So he replaced the worst of the 2 cogs and hoped the others would be ok for a while. Wanted to try and repair the others ouselves and the price he gave us for the 2 was $30 and $50. When I questioned the price the owner became agrssive and told me that no one would sell me Singer products but him so I should just leave. He walked away from us and when I tried to ask him for information he ignorned me. Wow.I will never go back there. I did find another store that was amazing. They sold me the the same 2 parts for $28 total. They also said that they would never have repaired a machine like mine but would have recommended another machine. You never repair a cog witout doing the other paired cog. Suggested that I spend the price of a repair for a new machine since my old one will only cause me heartaches. Recommed several good quaulity machines under $200 for my my casual home use.

My first visit, the treatment was very excellent, the coffee tasted delicious, and the decor was beautiful. I wish you progress and prosperity.

Extraordinary service! He was the only one who answered – immediately – when I asked three Pfaff stores about their opening hours. Went to store with my slightly damaged older sewing machine to buy a somewhat simpler machine. Ably assisted by his wife, who uses as a personal machine the same model as I, the owner patiently showed me various machines. We realized that the only one that had the indispensable features I wanted was the model I owned. They proposed that I leave mine to be repaired, losing a new sale. It was ready the next day, including the cleaning I had accepted. I started with creating successfully four bobbins with new threads. When I placed the fifth bobbin, I got a never before in all those years seen error message Pressure foot is up! No matter what I did – restarting machine, clicking keys, etc., - the message did not go away. In the evening I emailed the trouble to the store owner. Promptly the next morning he phoned me and made me do various work and verifications. Eventually the error message went away and the machine has worked well since then. Highly recommended!

Horrible service. Dishonest pricing. Here's what happened: I went there to get a dress shortened, nothing complicated. I tried it on, the seamstress (not the owner) put some pins, then took some measurements. When I asked for the price, I was told $140! I asked why it was so expensive, and the owner appeared and said it was because there was 14 meters of material. 14 meters!!! I laughed (because that was clearly impossible) and politely asked to measure it again. The owner immediately got offended and said she had 25 yrs of experience.. then proceeded to use her arm to measure my dress... how random and unprofessional! It was about 3 arm lengths so she said that's 3 meters (x2 for the lining so 6 meters) and said it was now $60. Obviously that was still impossible, and again I asked politely to use the measuring tape because her arm length clearly does not measure 1 meter! She refused, yelled at me, and threw me out the store... I measured it when I got home and it was 1.4 meters. NOT 14 meters! For reference, I went to another seamstress and got it done for $40. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
