★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Alva is the best!! Him and his staff are amazing. Made me so comfortable especially when my nerves and anxiety are at all time high during any dental visit. They go through everything with you and let you know what’s going on with your teeth. During my tooth extractions I didn’t feel a thing. Both locations at Secord and Gateway Blvd had friendly staff, a clean and comfortable office. I hope I always have Francisco as my dental assistant he always makes me laugh!! I highly recommend Smiles Dental Group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best dental clinic I’ve gone to, the atmosphere is so pleasant. The dentists and hygienists really want the best for you and your situation, they don’t pressure you just let you know what you should do and how urgent it is. They are so genuine and considerate. Recommend them 100%!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am TERRIFIED of dentists and I had to end up scheduling an emergency dental appointment. I called around 9pm and was able to get in the next day. The staff there are amazing and although i didn’t want to get the work done, they comforted me and talked me through everything!!! Thank you so so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always friendly from the time you walk in until the time you leave. I always show up for appointments about 5-10 minutes early, and always get in right away. All of the staff are super nice, and make you feel welcome. I’ve be been going regularly for a couple of years now, and have absolutely zero complaints. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the most stressful dentist appointment I’ve had.
From the nurse/front office, there was a lot of confusion regarding what the appointment was for and if they’d even be able to help me. They literally had no information on my situation prepared even though I’ve been a patient of theirs for almost 3 years.
Then the surgeon came in with such intensity that it made me feel very uncomfortable.
In the 10 minute appointment, I was told differing things, times, risks etc. and it was just all so stressful.
The one saving grace is that the surgeon numbed my mouth well and the extraction was over in minutes.
Either way it didn’t feel like a professional environment and that’s the bare minimum that I would expect at a dental office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being relatively new to this practise, I was very nervous to have my teeth cleaned as they are extremely sensitive. I explained this to Gina, dental hygienist, who was very understanding and gentle. Relatively pain-free cleaning. I am returning in 6 months to have them cleaned again. Thank you Gina and young receptionist (sorry forgot your name) who also was very kind and friendly. Would highly recommend this Dental practice.
