★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Access to many hiking and mountain biking trails, and to one of the last fire lookouts left on the island. Incredible views, nice park. Mt Manuel Quimper and Mt Brule are accessible from hear, as well as Charters river. Washroom at the trailhead, and another way on the other end of the park, but none up on the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hiked the back of Mount Quimper and the views were incredible. We highly recommend this trail system to anyone with a basic fitness level who would like an outing in the Sooke wilderness area. Hikes range from an hour to overnight. There's lakes to check out too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great parking lot with garbage cans and bathrooms. Well-marked trails and everyone I saw was very respectful and pleasant which is always nice. Dogs must be on-leash at all times and that's fine. It totally makes sense given the multi-use aspect of the trail. I saw one dog off-leash out of about 8 or 9.
