★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not so much of a hike as a sit and enjoy. Bring a picnic, sunnies and a nose plug.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best to go at low tide and wander the shoreline. Crabs and other ocean crawlers can be seen. Small rocks and gravel beach. The spit of land dividing Sooke Basin and Sooke Harbour.
Be cautious of tides and current as a lot of water can filter through making some fast current on the south end of the spit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small area but very cozy. Had the area to myself today, I just came out to check out the view and get some fresh air. The water is super clear and plenty of birds were enjoying themselves in and out of the water. A bit chilly but enjoyed the air and the scenery. Not much parking, again I was lucky that I was the only person there. Parked on a dead end street with very limited area to park or turn around after the fact.
