★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked an appointment with a financial advisor for a Saturday morning, only to get down there and find out they are closed on Saturdays. Not impressed! Your financial advisor had 4 days to contact me and tell me you guys aren’t open to save me from the hassle. Not to mention it’s a 2 hour wait to get ahold of anyone right now. This seriously makes me question your customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve never had a bad experience at this branch. The tellers are always kind and helpful. Recently I spoke with a financial advisor and he was able to help guide me through some borrowing. Chances are the 1 star reviewers don’t understand how banks work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never had a worse experience dealing with any type of customer service. I had a phone appointment scheduled for 9:45 am. I did not receive a call or even an email until I left a voicemail with Kara. She then said someone else would contact me as she is not my advisor. I still received no call or follow up from my apparent advisor. I call back to the call center to find out what is going on and end up speaking with Adetola who was quite helpful but could not answer my questions. Adetola scheduled a call at 4pm with a mortgage specialist. 10 minutes late I get a call from Adetola (after I emailed asking what is happening) and am informed a specialist is not available. I tell them this is not acceptable treatment and am then told someone will call me at 6pm. Now 18 hours later and an email to Alison the manager not one phone call.
I give up! If you are planning a mortgage with Scotia do yourself a favour and don't use this branch. This is not my first mortgage with Scotia but my first dealing here. PATHETIC customer service from the top down it appears.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Switched our mortgage to scotia which was fine. Made this branch our home branch and since day one have had the worst service I have ever had with a bank. Never returns calls, emails, this is from the financial advisors to the branch manager. Communication about our dealings has been the worst. Have been trying to make our mortgage payments come out on a certain day and it's like it is their first time setting this up. Still to this day it's not coming out on the day we want it to. Don't recommend this branch at all.
