H	HavaShana J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was booked for an appointment with a financial advisor for yesterday, Tuesday Sept 7, 2021 @10am. The person in question left me a voicenote this past Saturday night stating that "something came up so my appointment was rescheduled for Wed" (i.e. today at the same time). Well, it's 4pm and not even a courtesy call. Very disappointed! I forgot their name and my v/mail g0t deleted bit I just wanted to say that you (whoever) called might not respect my time but I do. That kind of service is totally unacceptable. This review is for Scotia Bank in the Grange (Edmonton, AB).
K	Katie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in there to verify some info needed for my account. The lady at the desk was rude. I think her name was Seibo or something similar. I had told her what I was there for and she was confused and very rude about it all. It was something the app told me to come in for and she was making it feel like it was my fault they didn't have the information needed on file. When she was done adding things and just making notes she told me I could go very abruptly. I got up to leave then she started talking to me again. Don't tell me to leave then continue to try and talk to me or sell me on things I don't want especially after being treated like that. I honestly will not return to this branch no matter how convient it is. I will go to another one.
V	Victor Ly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Received a monetary gift from my grandparents and ran into significant issues with trying to deposit the money. Spoke with my financial advisor at IG Wealth Management who was surprised to learn of the difficulties. Based on my conversation with my financial advisor, it appears the branch manager may have not been competent in this area. I moved my entire investment portfolio from Scotia to IG years ago and I certainly do not regret it. I will be looking to taking my chequing services elsewhere.

N	Nicole Libich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have banked with Scotia for about 3 or 4 years and our kids were at RBC still where we used to bank. Being honest we had to change banks due financial issues from being in a bad car accident me not being able to work ever again and husband needing a year off to recover. We are going through insolvency while we sue. Our kids wanted to move with us so we took our 19 year old autistic son to this location to open and joint account with him and myself to help him manage his money and he's still working on graduating due difficulties with the online learning so we asked for a student account and they pretty much out right accused me of wanting free fees to do my own banking and taking advantage of my own special needs son.My husband is back to work and makes a significant amount of money we don't need their 10 dollar is free fees but our disabled son does. After that the proof they wanted wasn't good enough (his schedule) they took it apon themselves to call his school without our permission or our sons. I can't wait to be able to return to Royal Bank.
