β β β β β Very polite staff. However, I was given the wrong information about cheque depositing. They said it would take 7 days for a cheque to clear in the atm or through the app. I called bmo customer service and they told me 1 day.

β β β β β I had an phone appointment with Mwajabu Mavurasr, and she didn't even call me after 20 minutes. So I proceeded to call the branch and I asked if I could speak to Mwajabu. And she yelled at me "THIS IS MWAJABU!", to which I replied "Excuse me! We had a phone appointment and you never called, so don't yell at me!".
She was not able to get me the rate Scotiabank promised me, so I asked her to close my line of credit account twice and no reply since.
NEVER BANK WITH BMO.
You will regret every single moment.
A message to Mwajabu Mavurasr; if you're reading this, I told you I wasn't bluffing. You're terrible at your job.

β β β β β The worst online service I have ever experienced! I have to wait 2 hours on the line just because they blocked my account due to I entered wrong password just once! All bank allows you three attempts. I am so angry with this service and thinking about to change the bank.

β β β β β BMO used to be the best to deal with for mortgages around 2013 but now that they are busy, customer service is terrible. You will wait 10 times longer for things to be done. They have zero incentives for existing clients to stay with them. For example, $3000 cash back to a new client but $1000 cash back to a client of 10 years on a new mortgage. On top of that, they have the worst early termination fees of any bank in Edmonton. They want me to pay $7000 for selling my house 2 years early. The same terms entered into an early mortgage termination calculator with Scotiabank shows $3000. On top of that, the interest rate was not locked in at the time of application to make more money off of a formerly loyal customer. Think twice before dealing with BMO

β β β β β Would not recommend this bank. When I first opened an account I should of walked away due to rude bank teller. She was plain out disrespectful and rude. My bad I didnβt walk away at that point. Final straw though and this time I am walking away. Applied for line of credit was approved but given 10% interest rate. My credit score is over 840. I would never use it with that high of interest rate. Thatβs fine that you want to charge that amount I should of confirmed the amount you charge as the rates are so low how you can charge that high of an amount is a slap in the face. Was told the Hamptons branch will reach out to me to get me to come In and verify a few things. My pay stubs and ID, I can only assume. That was Nov 27, 2020. Today is Dec 19 and still no one has called. Here is my notice that I donβt want the account and I will be moving to another bank. I donβt think you know what customer service is. To be clear itβs not about the amount you want to charge for interest itβs 100% about my experience with your bank from a customers point of view.
