I come to an RBC every week and this branch has the most horrible customer service. I cash a cheque paying their service fee and offering 2 pieces of ID. Multiple encounters with a Suzanna Rubenstein or something like that. Rude, wouldn't even look at my cheque. Felt racist, until branch manager came by and made her do it. She told me to 'give her my ID' instead of asking nicely, and then didn't count my money when she was done. I see other reviews of her and wonder why she's still there?

Worse customer service, One useless adviser working the branch his name is Mervyn Abraham, he doesn’t know anything, really useless & talking like drank. No use.

Bad treatment, we took an appointment with the employee (JERRIT RIPLEY. He) does not help me. They refused to help me. After an hour, he tells me that you can take a second appointment after a week. This is the first time he deals with him.

Miss leading website. Booked a appointment online to change my wife's investments from GIC's to Mutual Funds that were maturing. My had picked some Funds that she would like to invest in. At the appointment we were told that he wouldn't be able to help us cause my wife wanted to pick her Funds and that we would have to see someone else, a financial planner or go through Direct Investing. Why couldn't the website give more info so we could of made a different appointment. I've used other banks for our investments and never encountered this disorganized help before. Don't use RBC for your investments.

Took a check there to deposit from a well established organization and it was put on hold, with only releasing $100. No one has ever said in all the times I deposited checks that there will be a hold no matter the amount. Either that clerk is trying to be employee of the month of no one else is doing their job right. Not happy one bit.

I've been an RBC customer for many years now. Had a few bumps with my account but rbc has always been understanding and helpful to navigate thru the tuff times. I've dealt with the manager personally at this branch and she was great. I heard she is taking retirement now so thats a loss but a big thank you to teller Chenlu Zhao for her great customer service and friendliness. She is fantastic!!?And suzanna as well.

I have a U.S. account so I have to make my deposits in the bank in person. The other day there were two tellers working and other employees milling around the bank. This bank is small. The people at the front of the line were standing 6 feet apart which made the 12 of us waiting in line all scrunched together near the doors. I waited for 30 minutes, and people kept on coming in. The lines weren't moving and the bank manager didn't care. The other employees didn't care about the line up either. After waiting for 30 minutes, I gave up and left the bank. The bank manager was leaving so on my way out I told him that kind of wait and people being shoulder to shoulder during Covid is not appropriate. He didn't care. He shrugged it off and told me "the schedule is what it is". He didn't attempt to make sure people were six feet apart.. He didn't insist that another employee open up another teller's booth, he didn't have an employee talking to people in the line up asking if he could help them at the bank machine in case he could provide relief in the line up. He didn't tell people there were too many people crowded in the corner of the bank and the people coming in would have to wait outside. He did nothing. What he did do was basically nothing until 4:55p.m. when he and another employee put their jackets on and left the bank leaving a huge line up.

Absolutely unprofessional staff, I booked a video conference with Mervyn Abraham for 12 noon. I received two follow up emails, advising me that I will receive a link to join the conference and some instructions about what forms should I have ready. I came from work to be ready for the virtual meeting, no link received. 6 minutes after 12 noon, Mr Abraham called me on my cell asking how he can assist me. No excuses for being late, no explanations , only saying" we don't need a video conference".... He kept me on speaker, not able to properly understand and start asking me questions about things that were already in my account. And, he was very confusion how come I do not have the wallet with my driver licence with me to provide him some details. I simply said driver license was not on the list of required documents and yes, it is possible do not have it with me. I had to end up a conversation with lack of respect and understanding from the bank advisor, and I will book it with someone else.
