I don't think I've ever been to a grocery store with such gross disregard for customer service. Absolutely zero courtesy displayed so forget about any anticipation in customer support. Aisles blocked off with staff stocking, repeatedly throughout the store, manager/supervisor in the same aisle....maybe he'll say something after several customers ask to squeeze by...no. He's far too busy spot checking pricing...both visits, that's all I see him doing. Checkout issue with POS payment terminal...skips the PIN request and won't accept card. Asked to move out of the way so they can help the next person. What?? Can you call someone? No greeting, no apology, no eye contact. It's almost like no one is allowed to speak here!? Deals are great, but every store price matches these day so no need to go through this again!

Not friendly at all. No one is willing to help you out. I am disabled and I was being rushed to pack my groceries it takes me a little longer then most I just need a little patients and understanding. The cashier did not care at all. Very sad ?

Every time I’ve been in the store it’s always so clean and super organized. They do such a great job. Nice and helpful staff too.

I’m not sure why people are leaving poor reviews. This store is fully stocked, has great prices, and is very clean! Fresh Co is NOT a big chain like Sobeys, Superstore, Safeway etc. It’s more like a fancier No Frills. They don’t have a bakery or deli, but the Save on Foods down the street does. They also don’t have one time use bags, so bring your own or purchase their reusable ones! This store is the perfect store for this area. We now have an option for decent priced items that we don’t have to drive 15 minutes to access. For the bigger items, Costco and Superstore are close, as well as Save On.

Went in for a few items. Could not find one particular sale item. Found the owner stocking shelves, asked him where I could find the sale item. He could not be bothered to help me whatsoever. Told me β€œaisle 5”. Nope, not there. As an aowner, he should have taken the opportunity to introduce himself, and perhaps be a bit more helpful. Best of luck.

It is a new store, replaced Sobeys. I think Sobeys was much better store with a lot more offering, not sure why they changed it!!!

If you were to compare the former Sobeys to the current FreshCo, it'd basically be like replacing a slightly more expensive Safeway with a Loblaw NoFrills. The bakery has been removed, and while there is bread and related products being sold, there is a much reduced selection. The deli has been removed, and the products that used to be sold there with the exception of the hot food has redistributed in the form of processed food found throughout the store. Rather disappointing as I used to come here to grab lunch before I went to work due to the proximity to the Anthony Henday. There is a minor pro here in that the fresh fruit/vegetable selection has increased, but this is minor when those items are found for cheaper and with higher selection at the H&W Produce in Terra Losa. International food is being sold in much higher quantity, but it lacks the bulk packaging and pricing that would be seen at Superstore. Products have been touted to be lower priced, and while this is true in quite a few cases even in comparison to the prior Sobeys, it's rather comparable to the nearby Safeway in price. The floors are dirty and it is clear that they went for the cheapest option considering the store's no frills design as you see different colour tiles isolated from the patterns (singular grey tiles in random places etc) and cracks already forming in multiple areas this early into the store's opening. Very reminiscent of the Zeller's from years ago. It seems quite evident that this rebranding was the result of a corporate restructuring to reduce the competition Safeway's parent company Empire had after their acquisition of Sobeys, especially when you look at the store proximities between the FreshCos and the still open Sobeys to Safeway.
