A	Andrew Earle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in the citadel branch Monday and have to say I was treated great by June, who went above and beyond. Then, on my way out their automatic door closed on me, catching my vest and ripping it almost right off me. I went back in shocked and surprised by this sudden turn of events, only to be flacidly told sorry by some guy who didn't even introduce himself after coming out of his office. That was insulting. Not even an offer to have my seam repaired!? No eye contact even!? He could hardly wait for me to leave. So disappointing to have someone clearly in charge, not be. I had to throw out my vest as once I got home I realized there was a hole right through it too. But that guy. That guy didn't care one iota.
E	Erika Lasig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to open a savings account so I called the branch as it's closest to my home but because of this pandemic (reduced banking hours) I understand that their phone lines are crazy busy. So I sent a direct message on twitter to Scotiabank & I was able to talk to someones and they managed to coordinate with Citadel branch and make a phone appointment from 10:30-11am with Churchilean Andrada. Lo and behold I did not receive a call at 10:30am so I called and left a voicemail but did not receive a callback. I understand that they are busy but if I had an appointment for half an hour to give them my business they should commit to the appointment booked. Did not expect this kind of unprofessionalism.
T	TJCB on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not understand all the negative reviews and so I felt compelled to write a positive review. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect at this branch. When my children come with me they are always made to feel welcome. Their hours are fantastic as I can go in after the standard business day and on Saturdays. In fact that is one of the reasons I chose this branch was the fact that they are open on Saturdays. Finally, their team members are always warm and friendly. I can only say good things about this branch and suggest to anyone that if they are going to judge based on these reviews that they should go in for themselves to make an informed decision.

The teller told me that can't happen and they needed to send the money to the company who handles their loans and that they would then send me whatevers left . Meanwhile, over 1 week later nothing was in my account and i was stuck paying 2 loans. The teller told me i cant come back to ask questions about it as its up to that company now. WELL the people who handle the loan had NO idea why i forced to deposit my money this way making this experience longer and harder then it had to be.....
M	Michael Trabysh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT INVEST WITH THIS BANK! My mother recently passed away and held a TFSA and RRIF at this bank. I was named a beneficiary of the accounts and this bank will not pay out the proceeds. Be warned that you may never see your money. I even filed a complaint with the Office of their President and received no response.
